Faux Wood DIY Traditional 1 1/4" Interior Shutter Kits (Oak Stain Finish, 23-25" W x 20" L)

This is a very will made product and has an ingenious way of fitting any size window opening. Thin slats are used on either side of the window for a perfect fit. If you look closely, you will notice that we tightened the bottom of the shutter more than the top, causing a very slight tilt when closed. We plan to correct that eventually, just letting you know, so you don't make the same mistake. We placed this shutter in an opening between two rooms for a little added privacy, and we could not be happier with the results.

Amazon failed to notify me of the delivery which UPS, in turn, sent to the wrong house by 500 miles! Shutter Shack immediately, upon notification, send out a new order and followed thru with delivery. Of course the shutters are made in China but I've never seen such a quality product coming from the Orient. Even the packaging was heavy duty. Although plastic, they really have the look of wood and were pre-hinged which made installation easy. The finish and supplied fillers are perfect. It wouldn't look as good if I'd spent ten times as much hiring a carpenter. I rate the seller and the shutters 110%.

We ordered 12 of these for our bay window with 6 double-hung windows. Each set came complete with all hardware, nothing missing. The spacer slats made them adaptable for the window width range. We had to shorten the height of each kit, but the instructions were clear on the cutting limits for top and bottom. The really improved our ability to adjust light in our living room. They look outstanding.

We LOVE the shutters, easy install, shipped as promised. They look Great, fit as measured.

Don't let the delivery time deter you. Says 5 plus weeks but I ordered two sets, 3 weeks apart, both times they arrived in under 2 weeks. Very easy to install, seem solid, ( like they will hold up well ) and good finish, looks like painted wood. Only complaint: for the price I would expect hardware to be nicer. Handles are small plastic knobs. Latch is thin metal piece. Overall though, they look nice, and adjustable hinges made it easy to fit even though nothing in this old house is truly square. I hung one set above the other ( to fill window ) with no problem at all, due to sliding hinges. Measurements were completely accurate for what I ordered.

These are beautiful & well-made shutters. After figuring out just how these worked for our bathroom windows they installed fairly easily. Love how white & clean-looking they are. Easily wipe clean when necessary.

I ordered my shutter about two years ago and I am not really handy so I just stared at it this whole time wondering when I would be brave enough to tackle installing it. This could not have been easier! I am absolutely thrilled!

Used in bathroom window. I installed inside window mount. Should have installed outside mount because now my new windows can’t open completely to clean. (Swing down on inside). My fault should have measured for outside mount. Never thought of that so others might want to consider that if your windows swing to the inside to clean.My fault . Lesson learned.
