Awesome OCD Clone
I'm very impressed with the sound of this pedal for the price point. I ran it through two humbuckers and a vintage Fender Dual Showman Reverb and it was the perfect amount of overdrive. I was slightly annoyed that it requires a center-negative power supply (which thankfully I had on hand) so keep that in mind before buying!

My favorite Timmy clone
Love this from Mosky. Works well with other pedals and you have so much range

Not for Bass players
The original BB preamp is well-known for use on bass guitar. It's been many years since I've played an original BB, so I can't comment on how close this clone matches the original.I can say that any bass players considering this pedal for a low gain overdrive should look elsewhere. This one is tuned for guitars. A ton of high end, and you'll lose a low of bass unless you crank the bass knob, which results in a flabby overly hyped low end. I'm getting much better luck with a 250 clone that's the same size, price and color.

Sounds like the other thing but without all that pesky QA
This is supposed to be like another pedal. I have never played the other pedal. But the sound quality is definitely on par with that brand. It sounds great. If you don't like this pedal, you won't like bb.It can be used into a clean amp or another dirt. Into a clean amp, it has that sound of drive blended with clean that is the style of some pedals. So there is always some smoothness even at high gain levels. It sounds sparkly and warm, and the controls have good range. You can boost lows to avoid the typical TS low end dropout. The clean-dirt blend quality makes it fantastic for boosting another distorted sound. I ran it into my favorite rat clone and it sounded like the gain channel on a much more expensive amp. This is its best use in my mind. Much thicker and warmer than a TS.I am admittedly not the biggest fan of using it into a clean amp. It is a little too pointy and smooth for me. I prefer BD type sound. But that is just personal taste. Not due to any lack of quality in the pedal. What you are saving money on when you buy this pedal is some kind of wiring problem. It gets finicky as you unplug it or plug it in and it could cause problems for your other pedals. I have read that these lack a certain grounding wire and you have to make sure you plug in power before you plug in the input cable. So I wouldn't recommend this pedal to any professionals, because of that. Just to people like me who want to cut corners and save money, or want to see if it is worth investing in a real BB.Other than that whole deal, it's a great pedal.

MMmmmmmmmm Silver... get it!!!
This thing has knocked all my $100+ overdrive pedals off my board... not even kidding. My Timmy used to be my sound for so many years back in the day when it had some issues, I had a couple other great $150+ OD pedals that I’ve used but then when I was looking to get a little smaller and more compact I stumbled upon a YouTube video of this little silver wonder... dude... ok so you won’t go replacing $200 od’s with this BUT DUDE... you want to sound exactly like you run an expensive OD tone stack for $25... this right here.. some say it’s a “Timmy clone” and well I can see that but honestly I kind of like this one more sometimes. It’s my go to OD on both my church and home/gigging pedalboards. Not even kidding. It saves space, money and hassle and just freaking kicks, man. It sounds full, clear, bloody, and cutting (if you want that). Both low and high tone knobs make it virtually hard to find a bad sound and really (like it’s supposed to) makes it easy to find what you want. Cleans up well with dynamics and volume knobs but I’ve noticed it always retains a special clarity and pairing it with a good compressor, it sits darn near perfectly in the band mix. Gain knob is wide ranging and predictable. I really can’t say enough about this pedal y’all. Just get it.

Buen overdrive
A mi gusto tienen un buen tono pero sin duda obtienes lo que estas pagando, el volumen se ve afectado drásticamente sin importar el nivel de gain que se use, pero fuera de este punto por el precio si lo recomiendo.

Excellent on Bass guitar!
Great on guitar but also really great on bass guitar. This pedal does not take away the low end output of the bass. Plus the treble and bass controls add grit to either the bass or treble respectively allowing you to dial in many different types of grit on your bass tone. This lack of tone sucking is probably why its also so great on guitar as well. The higher gain sounds more like a vintage fuzz box but the lower gain is really nice and very touch sensitive as a classic overdrive. All and all a great pedal.Im glad i tried it on bass. Dedicated bass distortion is expensive and its hard to find a guitar one that works this well on bass. This really fits the bill.
