Q: Is the piece size too big for my 9-lb yorkie? I want to switch to this type from small breed (pricer) to this.

Greetings Golden H~ I would say the size is good but as a owner of three Pomeranians, I found them to be too crunchy. (hard) However I do add water to them to soften them, then they are added to their wet food mostly of which I prepare homemade. My dogs have tiny teeth and also have lost some teeth as is common with small dogs.

It's not posted but it is 35% protein and my experience is that this is an exceptional dog food for weight control. I got lazy and bought iams food at target and I saw an immediate weight gain in my olde english bulldog. Definitely recommend this food for keeping my dog trim.

Q: Where is the dog food produced?

I'm not sure. However it is the best food I have found for our Chihuahuas. There coats are noticeably shinier and smooth. The kibble is small to fit the tiny mouths too.

Q: What size are the kibble? Could my 9 pound dog eat this food?

You need to get the 8 pound bag they offer of toy/small breed which is tiny like cat kibble. My little 8 pound chihuahua loves it and she has tiny teeth. I put 2/3 cup in a dish, a little water and add some canned food to it each evening. She gobbles it down, no problem with her bowels and she has a lovely coat! Also no skin allergies from it. I highly recommend it.
