Help keep things organized.

I remember this type folder from my school days. Some of the teachers toted them around. I especially remember the librarian with an armload of them, making her look so important in my young eyes. Just through daily recordings of stuff I find on my home comp, I collect an abundance of papers that I don't care to sift through and discard. These folders have helped solve my disarray. I have placed them in a gold metal wire desk file organizer made by U Brands that I found on Amazon. It's a hanging file but I like it on my desktop. At present, I've put 4 folders in it and it has room for more depending how full folders are, of course. --These pocket folders were very inexpensive for so many folders. They look nice and the only thing I may like a bit different would be the color. I am a linen fanatic. Would love to have these in a linen/oatmeal color. But not complaining; I'm very happy with these.

My coworkers frequently grab multiple files or stacks of paper to take home with them and those items have been known to suddenly slip and spill all over. These pockets solve the problem because they can expand to fit the need and they are durable to reuse. I use the pockets in a pinch to organize a project that needs to be available for easy access on top of a desk. Instead of a horizontal stack of files and paper where everything is hidden beneath the top item, this large pocket can keep the files upright for easy viewing and access. This is a sturdy yet roomy empty file folder to hold other files in an organized fashion. It keeps my files together nicely and compact. It would be nice if there was some kind of closure but an elastic/silicone band did the trick for me. The top does not close as it "appears" in the picture; it simply stays upright to protect your files inside this product. Price is a bit expensive but it is cheaper here than in a retail store. I would buy again and would recommend.

When I worked in offices, we used "Redropes," first legal-sized and then letter-sized. I became "addicted" to them and now use them during my retirement years for files at home. Yes, I have filing cabinets and have not yet gone 100% paperless! Online shopping is the best. There is no way I would drive to an office supply store to purchase expandable file pockets. Again, SMEAD is a superb brand.

I looked at this item, decided to purchase it. It was delivered before the actual deliver by date. They are very sturdy and were exactly what I thought I was ordering. Also the value per item was excellent.

Just the right size to group tax papers each year. There are cheaper pocket files but they are not stable enough to hold several papers without ripping. These Smead pockets will last.
