Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach and Stomach Large Breed Dog Food, Salmon Formula - 35 lb. Bag

Our dog needs a special diet, free of chicken and grain. This is perfect with a salmon and rice formula she can stomach. She has a great coat due to the fish oil, and doesn't scratch like with other brands. The smell isn't too strong and fishy like with some brands, and doesn't smell rancid like with others. She loves the stuff. Purina pro plan also has other sensitive stomach formulas with lamb, but those dont seem to sit as well. The only difference from this and their other sensitive stomach salmon and rice is the kibble bit size; these are larger for larger breeds so they can't just down a mouthful without chewing. This is also helpful in slowing our dog, who eats quite fast. She loves the flavor!

We tried everything with one of our Shepherds . Raw , honest kitchen , every brand . We adopted another and he was eating Purina Pro and was fine . We tried it with the fussy Shepherd - he loves it and no stomach issues . Been using it now for 5 years (salmon ) . Also , got a husky pup . Now a year old . She has only been on this . We do supplement with Purina’s Beyond canned salmon and occasional dried salmon and liver as treats .

My 64 pound goldendoodle suffered from seizures and was always scratching at his skin, no matter what supplements we tried. Switched to this food about 8 months ago, and he hasn’t had a seizure since! We were hoping for good results with his skin, and the result we got was even better! He also LOVES eating this food. He would let his old food sit in his bowl all day and just “nibble.” He gobbled this down completely as soon as I put it down for him. It’s a little pricey, but totally worth it for your furry family member!

I've been purchasing ProPlan for years. Maybe didn't read fine print, but this bag w/ German Shepherd on front kibble quite different than one w/ the Irish Setter. Albeit more expensive (the German Shepherd one), I don't get all the crushed dust. Kibble is firm and noticeable different. If you've switched between the different choices mentioned for sensitive stomach, you'll know what I'm talking about. Not sure why this one more expensive, but anything for my Dobie. He enjoys it, digestion good. Just my experience

Purchased to improve our German Shepherds complete digestion to improve her stool firmness and reduce gas. It is helping. It’s made from fish so leaves her with fish breath. That is a minor inconvenience compared to barf, diarrhea or flatulence.

I have a Saint Bernard with sensitive skin and she loves this food. Her coat is shinier since she started eating it and this has never caused her any problems.We originally tried the regular Sensitive Skin and Stomach food (the one with the Irish Setter on the bag), but my dog didn't like it at all. She is all about the Large Breed formula, though.

When my trainer recommended this food, I was taken aback. I had been spending a lot of money on expensive dog foods for my rescued doberman. She gave me information about the studies and data around this food (specifically the sensitive skin and stomach) and so I tried it. My doberman is sleek and happy and loves this food!
