Classy and unique
These Jotter XL pens are the perfect size in my opinion, I feel that the regular ones are a bit smaller than your average pen. This particular series with the all-over metallic pain is a nice variation. I bought the rose-pink for my wife and the all black for me.Premium look and quality, at a great price. Highly recommended. If you can find them on sale here on Amazon, do not hesitate to snatch one up.

Still a classic
I haven't had a need to carry a pen for work for years but that's changed recently.I wanted to use my old classic Parkers because i always liked the way they wrote, but they felt too small in my hands now.Luckily they make an xl version of these pens now that feels better in my hand but still writes as good as I remembered. Great pens.

Parker quality?
This is my second Parker pen. While this carries the Jotter name the quality is not the same with the XL. Of particular annoyance is the plastic barrel insert compared to the metal insert of the original Jotter. I knew that when I bought it, at least. The clip isn't as sturdily designed and feels cheap with the slight amount of movement. Writing quality is similar but I do feel that the XL blue ink somehow isn't the same. I do love the larger size of the XL compared to the original, however. Its the perfect size for my larger hands. Parker needs to get it together, I dont understand why they would make this cheaper quality.

Nice looking, almost a jewelry.
Good one. I bought it as a present and the receiver valued it a lot. It is very nice looking. Lasting long.

Love the size.
Long-time Parker fan here. I love the size of these Jotter XL's. I have some higher-end pens like Parker Sonnets. But those ballpoints a twist mechanism and I love the one-handed convenience of the Jotter's click-top.This is my second black Jotter XL, but only because I carried (and abused) my first one so long some of the finish was starting to chip around the tip and show wear on the barrel. Even then, it still worked fine; just showing its age. So I thought I'd treat myself to a new one.

Improving a classic
I'm a huge Parker pen fan. I like my Jotter, it's comfortable to write with, but it is kind of tiny. I thought I'd try an XL, and they're "just right." Compared to my regular Jotter, I think they're also a little bit wider; not as much as an IM. You get the same "click" everyone seems to like, and the same performance. Solid black pens are popular. I had one from a questionable company and it lasted six months. I learned to stay with the trusted brands, and in my biased opinion Parker is one of the most reliable. They also have the best clip and their refills are the industry standard. I've tried felt tip, fountain pen, and gel, but for everyday writing and especially underlining in books, you can't beat a trusty ballpoint. And for the price, you can't beat the Jotter.

Sadly Parker has gone cheap on a once great timeless classic.
I’ve owned various models of the Parker Jotter for years and have always been happy. I was excited to get an all black one with a little bit more thickness to it. I like the pen overall except it’s way more expensive than most other Jotters and guess what? Like everything these days its utter junk. The internal screw barrel is made of plastic. Why? It snapped in half easily in my pants pocket, the pen didn’t even last a month. Every other full metal Jotter I’ve ever bought has had a metal screw barrel, why on such an expensive model is it now plastic? Don’t buy this pen, buy a vintage Jotter on eBay instead you’ll be happy you did. As you can see in my photos old vs. new Jotter.
