SoftSheen-Carson Dark and Lovely Au Natural Anti-Breakage Super Softening Hair Butter, 8 oz

Let me first say, that I love this product. Makes my hair super soft. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is purely due to the AMOUNT that was in my 8oz jar. I opened both jars I purchased and they looked as if they had been dug out of. I know that items/gels/creams settle and move during shipment, BUT this was ridiculous. I had to inform amazon of this, and they were ready to provide me with 2 more jars. I will be sending these two back on Thursday when the replacements arrive. I just pray they're not missing half their weight as well. As I said before, I LOVE this product, but was extremely disappointed in the volume. I hope it was just a bad batch. I'll update this review on Thursday.UPDATE: I will change my raising to a 5 star, because I did receive the replacements in a timely fashion, and the products volume was acceptable this time. Amazon was great at making sure my order was taken care about of. I HIGHLY recommend this hair product. I love how soft it makes my hair.

I received my order quickly and took it out box & it had the consistency of soup and oil residue around it. I figured maybe it was hot on mail truck & waited a few days for consistency to thicken. It did slightly but when I went to use it, it’s so liquid & oily that the product drips off fingers before it can gets in hair. It was frustrating! Then as I was finishing up a 1/4 of my head with this, it starts dripping in my eyes & burning terribly. I stopped & chose an old half empty bottle of another product to finish the rest of my hair & then redid the side that contained this product. As I took twists out to apply another product, it splashed from my twists & got back in my eyes & burns like crazy. This is Absolutely awful. I love all of Dark & Lovely hair creams but there is something wrong with the product I received. I don’t know if it was tampered with or the fact it melted changed the chemicals. I don’t know but I will never by this green soup again.

A natural hair product that does what it says it will do. It does have a light odd smell so hopefully the maker will improve the smell. Otherwise it's a good product

This baby right here! It's so good even my bf uses it after his hair cuts. For me it's part of my regimen to help my hair keep conditioned, moist, and defined throughout the week without the over use of product and having to deal with too much product build up in my hair, and for me bf he just likes that smells good and it doesn't irritate his head after his hair cut. I've also notice less, tangles, breakage, split ends and some hair growth since using it. So I love it..

My hair is in transition as I am giving it a break form the braids and the perm. It is not as great as it was touted on the website but it is better than half the other stuff I have tried. the thing I like best it doesn't just get your hair wet and then fries up. It give your hair moisture but no sheen. All in all it was worth the buy

I’m so glad Amazon sells this product, after an unsuccessful (companies that claimed they sold this product) search had this product! It’s a staple in my hair regimen. I like that it’s not greasy, but it provides my dry hair and edges the moisture it needs daily!

I used this year's ago and loved it but this time I believe their manufacturer is messing their product up because the seller was excellent and resent my order but it was melted again! I used it anyway and it ran into my eyes and burned my eyes so I had to wash my hair again to get it out. This used to be solid and was a Lime green color and smelled so goodbye! It used to make my hair so soft too!But both of my shipments were melted and looked like melted orange sherbet with foam on top. I blame whoever their manufacturer is.
