Malibu Lounge Living Accent Armchair Natural Rattan Wicker Handmade Design, Colonial with Cream Cushion

I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. It's a risk buying something like this online (will it be comfortable? will it arrive undamaged? how is the quality?) This was extremely well-packaged, with lots of protection and straps around the box for easy carrying. Every linear part was encased in protective wrapping, which appeared to be done by hand and was an art in itself. My compliments to the wrapper! It took me quite a while just to take it all off. The chair had separate, flat pieces for the back, sides, seat, and lower front and back cross pieces. Parts are very well-labeled and individually wrapped. The intricacy of the design is beautiful, as is the fit and finish. The instructions could have been better and were a bit sparse, but assembly is pretty intuitive. Do be careful to keep the sides of the chair with the larger side of the screw holes facing outside, not inside. The instructions don't say that, and it is possible to put them on backwards, but then the screws won't reach (which is why some people complain on here of having to go out and buy longer screws!) Once you get that part understood, assembly is pretty easy. The chair is extremely comfortable with firm support, even after long hours of sitting, and the addition of the ottoman adds to the look and comfort. It looks great in my sunroom. What more could you ask for?

I purchased two of these chairs and plan to get two more. Very easy to assemble you just need a phillips screwdriver. The workmanship and quality are first class. They fit in perfectly in our family room, very comfortable and they are just good looking chairs. We also purchased the round coffee table which is also very nice. A rocking chair we purchased at the same time had a couple of problems. we contacted SK New Interiors and were told to ship it back to them and they will exchange it for another one.Very easy no hassel. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Clear, easy to follow instructions to assemble with just a few screws and you have a sturdy, nicely designed, detail finished, comfortable chair. The pads are simple but attractive and thick enough to be comfy. A hint of tropical relaxation.

First off, indoor rattan does not seem to be a current "trend" and I had to shop extensively for affordable quality rattan seating for an indoor sunroom. Found these on Amazon and the price seemed right depending upon the quality and I decided to give "Malibu Lounge" a try.Shipping was fairly quick (no overnight Prime, but only took a few days) and I knew assembly was required. No real instructions in the box, but a link to a YouTube video. The less than 3 minute video was adequate and it took me all of 20 minutes to assemble chair number one, 10 minutes or less for chair #2. It literally took longer to unpack and unwrap these securely boxed chairs than it took to assemble them.Once assembled, they are sturdy and look pretty darn nice. Not "high end" but not chincy either. I will say my only concern is how well the bottom cushions will hold up over the long run. If you sit in the chair then get up, the bottom cushion remains "wrinkled" for a few minutes. Even so, a block of simple seating foam would be an easy replacement if needed. The bottom cushion covers are zippered and can be removed for cleaning, replacement, etc.I bought these to replace a 30 year old set bought from a higher end retailer, replaced mainly due to sun fade. The quality of these chairs, once assembled, match the previous expensive (at the time) set and I have already received complements on this pair of chairs . For an indoor space when you do not want oversized seating, these are worth considering.This is a purchase I am pleased with and in comparing with the set they replaced, I think these will last a long time. The rattan has a nice "gloss" appearance and once screwed together, these are sturdy.*HOWEVER* the seat bottoms are "firm" and it takes awhile for the "indentations" from sitting on them to dissipate. Also, the seat backs are "lumpy" in both appearance and feel when sitting. In my opinion, they really dropped the ball when it came to the quality of the bottom padding and seat back filler. No getting around the fact the appearance is diminished by the lumpy seat backs.I'll keep them and I believe I'm going to enjoy them. I love the rattan. But I can foresee eventually having to replace the seat cushion pad and back filler as they detract from the appearance and are not the most comfortable. I wish, truly wish, I could give these 5 stars. 3.5 is probably more like it, 4 a little generous due to the concerns mentioned. I'll award a 4. If they had spent a few dollars (or RMB's or Yuans or whatever) on the padding and stuffing, I'd happily go award a 5 star. But I can't do it.

We just purchased two of these chairs to match the rest of the set that we purchased from SK New Interiors. We LOVE them! Wait 'til you see the quality and the care that they put into each piece they make! They ship these to you in a box with EACH piece securely wrapped and packed beautifully. My husband was able to put these chairs together quickly and easily. The color and the workmanship are fantastic. We bought these for our living room but I would recommend them for a Florida room or screened in porch. If the cushions were thicker they would be fine for the living room but the comfort level is more like that of very good quality outdoor furniture.

You can Buy a Better MADE RATTAN chair for the price at one of your local stores. I shop at Southeastern Salvage for Rattan Furniture. The webbing on this is delicate. Can easily be broken by hands. My chair had one front leg 3/4” short and we had to put weight in the chair for a week to reshape the rattan due to it sitting in the box so long from cold and heat storage. It’s a beautiful and comfortable chair. Due to the problems and cost. I would never recommend buying one. I read reviews and they were all great. Apparently none had even own real rattan furniture.

From the minute I opened the box and saw the heavy cardboard casing protecting the beautiful rattan I knew I had found true artisans of their trade. Exactly what I had been looking for. Beautiful, comfortable and made with pride . Very relaxing and I hope to be back again.

The chairs (2) arrived in great shape as they were packaged extremely well. They went together per the directions and everything lined up. I feel like I got value for my money.
