Meaningful Read
This little title is crammed with sound thinking. I found it very enriching. Don't be fooled, it's not about school per se.

A delight to the very end
Wasn’t sure what to expect but found it well worth the time I spent with it. I even bought the audio narration and have played certain chapters over and over again to retain their messages. Definitely thought provoking.

Great book, could be less circumlocutionary.
This book is amazing! It teaches you all the lessons school didn't/doesn't, but the author uses a lot of words to say one thing.

A therapist gift to graduating seniors
I work as a therapist for high school students and like to send them an easy read book for a graduation gift. Last year I gave "Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Life...And Maybe the Worldby Admiral William H. McRaven". This year I will proudly gift this book as it helps with personal insight and critical thinking so valuable in approaching adult life.

Good read. Some interesting points. Funny.
A funny way of telling a lot of common sense things. It’s an enjoyable read. A little repetitive, some ideas overlap.

Good but superficial
Important lessons but somewhat superficial. It’s a fast, easy read, so if you’re curious, go for it. You might like it.

Wish I'd Had This Book Instead of Having to Learn Everything the Hard Way!
I nodded so hard while reading WHAT THEY FORGOT TO TEACH YOU AT SCHOOL by The School of Life that I nearly knocked myself out. I was that earnest, straight A's student who could have used the wisdom in these swift, pithy chapters -- and had to learn everything for herself the hard way. I enjoyed the perspective, the level-headed and fresh view into an experience that often does not result in informed, educated individuals equipped to live well. While I did not necessarily agree with every single point, I did respect a new take on a familiar reality. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my unbiased review.

Imprescindible.

mandatory reading
A book that will make you realise all the things you take for granted about life or maybe you kind of have an inkling that life shouldn’t be that way. A book that encourages you to conform less to others way of life and you’ll feel true satisfaction if you don’t let yourself down to your expectations not others.

Useful insights for anyone of any age.
This is one of the best School of Life titles so far.A short but vital read, it takes most of the troubles of adult life and explains not only where the origins may lie, but how to see them clearly. It offers suggestions of how to approach solutions and better understanding of self and others.Nothing supernatural or complex, no journaling or questionnaires, just a sane view of our complex emotional lives....Recommended .

A manual for life
Beautifully written, this book sums up everything The School of Life is trying to teach us. It should be a compulsory read for absolutely every adult.
