Scarlet Darkness Oktoberfest Carnival Costumes for Women German Dirndl Cosplay Dress

Bought this early for Oktoberfest this year since I may go to several and would like to have different looks. It’s about as authentic as you can get in modern America! (I do have a real dirndl that is def better quality, but this is a close second that would fool anyone—at least after it’s ironed/de-wrinkled lol!)I love the print and the vibrancy of the colors; very true to the pix online. I do also feel like I can wear this without a slip (ie it’s not see-through).The chemise is decent quality (not premium, but does a good job) and I love the trim detail! The chemise also runs a little big, and the whole dress is maybe half an inch too big, so while I’m glad I bought the 2XL, I’d def want to wear this with a bra (whereas with my real dirndl I don’t need to wear a bra). Regardless, this dirndl is very comfy, I can move around freely, and with the apron cinched and tied around the waist, it makes it the perfect size for me.The apron and the bodice laces are a satiny/silky texture and better quality than I expected! And I appreciate that this is a more modern-traditional length (not skimpy short) and that the apron ties are long in order to properly tie around the waist.The whole thing def needs to be ironed or steamed and I do wish it had pockets, but those are both easy fixes. :)Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and can’t wait to wear it!!For reference, I am 5’3”, 180lbs, and my measurements are 44-36-46. I bought the 2XL and it was a tiny bit loose all around, but I think a size down would not have zipped around my bust. At least I can breathe and move in this and the apron helped shape the whole thing up just fine!

This far exceeded my expectations. Material is great quality, not the cheap costume material you’d get from a costume store. I usually wear a small or medium dress so I ordered the medium and it fits perfectly!

I bought this for a party but sadly It came in too late, It was such a pretty dress, I was very impressed with the quality of the whole outfit. It was not crazy fancy, but definitely not cheap at all. Worth every penny. The apron was detachable and so was the shirt. I could definitely see being able to mis match with other outfits. Super cute, the outfit was very flattering, wish I could wear this in regular day to day life. I think next time I need one, I'll make sure to order in advance.

This dress is well made and fit me well. Very nice quality. I am 5’ 9” and a size 12. XL was perfect. The skirt hits right above my knee

I loved the pattern of this but the apron is sad and cheap looking (it’s like super thin fake satin). Also the whole dress was a little too big but specifically I was swimming in the bust and the straps were too long. Tightening the corset just causes it to bunch up in a wonky way. I am like a 36 c/size 6 in dresses and ordered a small (the smallest size available)

Got this with one day delivery and went to Oktoberfest on Day 2! Surprisingly comfortable and I love the colors. Got a good price on it as well. Recommended!

I felt the Fabric was a decent quality. The sizing guide for this dress is extremely poor. Following the guide to a tee, I bought a large which was far too big resulting in an ill fit that just looked terrible. I made it work bc it was my only option for the themed event but I spent a great deal of time tailoring it to meet my needs to make it “good enough”. I would not buy again or recommend anyone to either. Overall, very disappointed in the fit.

I returned this one only because I had a different one that just fit better. This one was just a bit too large in the shoulders. The one I kept was also all cotton, which I actually wanted, while this one is a shiny material. That's not a bad thing though, this one is freaking GORGEOUS, and if it had fit as well as the other one, I would have kept this instead.The undershirt for this one is amazing. So much softer than any of the others I tried on and it wasn't so tight on my arms either.Looking at the pic makes me sad that I didn't keep it because it is just so pretty, but I did rock the other one that I kept.If you're looking for a "fancy" one, this is it! If you're looking for a more traditional one, go with cotton.I'm 32DD and I believe this was a Large. I have very petite shoulders and a small waist. It was slightly too big in the waist and shoulders or if I'd had more boobs, it probably would have been fine. I could not have gone down a size though so that was what ultimately made me return it. Another one I'd tried on fit much better so I went with the other one.

Bought for an Oktoberfest party and it is fine. I’d recommend order your correct size. The material quality was better than I expected so happy with it for what it cost.

I went by the chest and waist size and it fits me well. I’m 158cm, 90kg.
