Great brand and soil for indoor plants!

I love the Harris potting mix and so do my houseplants! The bag easily filled several small pots, and my plants have been happy, healthy and the soil maintains a good amount of moisture without making me worried about root rot.

Bug free and My plants love this

Last update: Every one of my plants has new growth popping out. I have one that has seven new leaves coming in right now. Most of my plants are Calatheas or in the family of prayer plants and they are doing great since repotting. Even my Triostar, that I was starting to wonder if it was ever going to give me a new leaf or any growth has a couple shoots coming up and two leaves coming out.. My finicky ( Diva plants as I call them) definitely seem to be liking this soil mixture. I always add extra perlite, a lil Charcoal and orchid bark to my mixes for my tropical plants. These babies have really taken off since I repotted.Update: My plants love this.. I have 2 new shoots coming up on one of my plants and I noticed this morning my Rattlesnake plant also has new growth emerging...I can honestly say this is the best soil I've used..It drains well while still retaining the right amount of moisture and my plants are doing very well since repotting. I'm definitely sticking with this brand and will be purchasing more in the future..It's well worth the price to have happy healthy plantsLet me start off by saying.. Yes it's pricey but after buying 3 name brand bags of soil from 3 different places and getting infested with gnats and some other type of pest I'm not sure what it was I decided I'd have to pay basically $30 dollars for 2 bags of this every year or 2 to repot. It will be well worth it and I'll save time and money spent in fighting pest and damaging my plants (I was ready to throw in the towel if this soil didn'twork out)...Also this soil mix has everything I usually buy separate to amend into my mixes so it saves me that way as well. I truly hated paying so much for a small bag but to finally get a soil mix with no bugs and that seems to be truly good soil and holds water well without water logging my plants and my plants seem to be doing so much better I will absolutely buy this again each time I need to repot or get a new plant it's well worth it to finally be bug free. Honestly every bag of soil I bought this year different places and different brands all came with bugs. It's getting ridiculous to find soil that's actually good and bug free

Bag is smaller than I thought it would be

It’s a nice product, and I didn’t return it; but I was tempted to. When they say something is 4 quarts, or 8 quarts, sounds like it’s gonna be a lot but it’s really not. You buy a big bag at Home Depot garden center or a big box store and it’s a giant bag compared to this 8 quart bag, it must be 1000 quarts ! I will not buy this product again

10 Stars! 🌟 Magic Dirt

I literally think I can see plants healing before my eyes with even a small amount of this dirt.. Even in an hour it seems to have made a difference. Plants perking up. Standing taller. I know it sounds crazy, but it’s true. I bought this because the third I ordered was running five days late and I had a newly planted pot that did not have enough dirt. So out of concern, I bought this in the gap and have already bought another bag. It is amazing! 🌱🪴 Addt. Note: my plants have done so well with this in only a few days. I was just watering another one, and thought this really needs the magic dirt. It is like all the nutrients or whatever is in it brings new life to whatever it touches, even if I just sprinkle it on top, which I did on a couple of the plants. until I was all out of dirt. The next bag comes on Tuesday. Can’t wait! The other dirt finally came and now I’m wondering what to do with it. I for sure will mix it with the magic dirt, when I have a larger quantity that is needed. So glad the other dirt was late and I discovered the magic dirt.

My plants are happy and healthy

I often forget when I water but this has helped keep them watered AND they bloomed this year.

It's ok

1st time buying soil for plants so I was unsure what to pick but description was interesting. I had extra soil for a bit so I saved it. But after using the rest I've noticed that small bits of mold seems to grow on the soil in the bag. I guess too much moisture if not used? I eventually used the rest of the soil. My plants seemed to enjoy it but my fern died from having white stuff in the soil. Maybe due to unfiltered water. Now my orchid is dying too? Leaves are turning yellow and the older stems are brown though might be just the kind of water. But anyways the bag was big but not enough soil inside it. It was decent dirt to me to use. I've never say no bugs inside it just the mold that grew inside the bag if not used all.

Good mix

Bought it to plant some oregano. Arrived the next day. Really neat, very little mess. Enough amount for my 8 inch pot. The mix provided good moisture and water retention. The color is dark. I cannot speak about quality based on Oregano because the plant is very resilient. However, based on packaging, amount, price, speed of delivery, and moisture retention I am happy with the purchase.
