I ordered this sweet beer cooling cup because, being a Coors Light drinking professional, I needed a cup that would keep my sweet nectar as cold as the Rockies in the comfort of my own home. I've got a wide selection of Coozies, but they don't solve the problem of making a beer colder. And it really does work! I chuck it in the freezer for about 45 minutes before pouring in a beer. You can get about 4 beers of what I like to call "Exxtra Coldies" before "recharging" it in the freezer. The cup fits a 12oz beer and a nice head perfectly. The cup is heavy, making spilling it or knocking it over during a touchdown dance pretty low risk. I pretty much love my new Crystal Freezer Mug. Yeah, great purchase for Bengals fans. And cold beer fans.FROWN UPDATE!:December 2, 2012. The mug somehow cracked in the freezer last night for whatever reason. Never dishwashed or abused. Looked up other Duck House freezer mugs on amazon and that seems to be pretty common. I ordered another one anyway because I like cold beverages.

Gave as a gift to my dad. He usually places the mug in the freezer. His lasted for a few years, then it broke and he immediately asked for another.

Let me confess that I originally suspected that such a reasonably priced freezer mug would either be of inferior quality, or would only last for a couple of weeks before some sort of defect would develop, but as I am now enjoying it for my second summer month, it has become a truly cherished possession. It is deceptively sturdy (so far), despite its light weight, and when the crystals develop a frosty appearance after about an hour in the freezer, their appeal is irresistible after returning home at the end of a long day. When the mug is then filled with genuine crushed ice, you get the double chill of the real ice, combined with the snowy-looking crystals that are visible through the transparent shell, and this only embellishes the root beer that will complement the ice. This mug is very durable. I have not put it in the dishwasher, but it probably could withstand it. The print has not faded at all. The cup does amazing at keeping drinks cold. I did not expect it to do much for a warm beer, but it chilled the beer extremely fast. My husband loves it!

Keeps beverage cold as described, however please follow the instructions. Place in freezer 15 min before use. Not very durable if left in the freezer for days, the outer shell will crack/split open. Will probably last a long time if you place in frige only. Beware do not put in freezer for extended period.

This is a really nice mug! Purchased this for my husbands birthday and he loves it! My husband says that the mug holds about the amount of a can size beer, and that it kept his beer cold for a couple hours (on average about 2 hours), He says, that you can not feel the coldness on the outside of the mug but in the inside the beer stayed cold for a while. The product does say not to wash in a dishwasher which is understandable for not damaging the outside of the mug, so when I washed it I was able to realy feel how durable the mug was. Really nice thick mug for you beer drinkers!!!! Enjoy!

Love these mugs, they freeze in an hour, and you can drink two or three drinks before they thaw out. I bought four of them so l never have this problem. I even filled one up with tap water, let it sit in the mug for ten minutes and it made the water almost like ice water. Their a little pricey, but your paying for the NFL logo, plus I’m a big football fan anyway. Plan on having friends over in the fall when football starts and won’t have to worry about serving anyone a hot beer.

We have grown t0 appreciate these Bears' mugs for a variety of reasons...most importantly we're Bears' fans, but there are other reasons. First, they store conveniently in our refrigerator, next they conveniently chill a 12oz can of liquid, finally, you don't have to mess with refrigerating the cans before they are served. Not only do you save electricity by not having to cool it, you also don't have to buy the beverage at the drive-up window. Of course this works if you're cola fan, but not quite as well if you need a cold beer. We have always been pleased with the quick service we've received when we have ordered more mugs.
