VERY DARK BLUE I opted for blue as I like blue ink. However this a very dark blue compared to my other blue pens. However I know when my boyfriend worked in QA, some forms had to be done in ballpoint, not gel for longevity. I have never considered them different prior to that.I also included a picture of the difference of the cartridges between ballpoint and gel, the thin one is the cartridge from this penBelow is something I snagged from online:Ballpoint pens use viscous, oil-based inks. They’re made by dissolving dyes in a mixture of alcohols and fatty acids. Alcohols promote smooth ink flow, while fatty acids lubricate the tip of the pen. Because the ink is so thick, ballpoints work well on low-quality papers with little to no bleedthrough. However, they do require more pressure to write. This can be tiring over long periods of time, but some find these pens easier to control. Ballpoint inks are usually smudge resistant, quick drying, and waterproof.Gel ink consists of pigment suspended in a water-based gel. This particular formulation makes gel pens precise and vibrant. Very few other pens come in tip sizes as small as 0.28 mm--or as many colors. I have loved new pens for as long as I can remember, and since I always look for the new and comfortable ones mine always get stolen when people find out how good they are. This find was amazing! I had previously found Mr. Pen items (not this) to be exactly what I was looking for, but this Writon set are great on their own.The ball point is smooth, and though it says 1.0mm ball point, it writes closer to a 0.7 gel type. The only thing is that the tips are not wax sealed so that you may get some drying out of ink if you don't use them in time, unless the ball seal is good enough to prevent the ink from leaking out--time will tell on that. The grip is comfortable to hold and they write very smoothly, with no fade or skips from what I have seen. It writes well on white out tape as well, though you may need to press lighter to prevent from scratching off the material. I would just like to put a note in about the box too, the art on this was fantastic and makes the product all that much more attractive and eye-catching if you were purchasing from a store.The 24 pack is enough as well that my office can take one and I will still have enough for myself. With this price point too, this item is a steal!

I am a waitress and have to bring a bag of pens just to perform the basics of my job duties each night (Order taking, Cashing up tickets and collecting signatures, etc) and let me tell you these pens are awesome. They are a great price for starters, So if they go missing or a co-worker of mine “borrows” one and forgets to return it, I havent lost an expensive pen. However, The quality is great, like an expensive G2 pen that was all the rage growing up. The ink flows very seamlessly onto the page, Writes well on all surfaces, and is well made. No more half broken pens turning up in my apron after a long and busy day. Absolutely love my green pens and would definitely recommend.

I want to say these were almost perfect but the color has not been consistent nor very dark. I went for these green pen as blue/black colors can get dull. These pens are super comfortable to hold, they definitely don't feel cheap like the pens you buy at the discount store. These pens are sturdy, grip able, and write very smooth like gel pens. My only issue is that the green isn't very dark, as you can see in my picture. I also found that the intensity of the green variates as you begin to write, which seems like a manufacturer issue. Aside from this, they are affordable and on par with other pens in this category.

I got these 24 packs of pens because I am always letting someone borrow mine and usually don’t get them returned… For that reason alone, this was a bargain. They write as soon as you go to paper, no smear, retractable, and just a good pen overall.I still get asked to borrow my pen, but I always have this in my bag to replace those that don’t return. And I see them being used all the time, so that is a quality pen if they never return it…Currently priced at $9.99 for a 24 pack. And they are good durable basic black pens for any occasion, so get yours. I still have around 18 left, so I’m going to get another one, now that people know I have them, they’ll be back for more!

This pack of 24 red ink medium ballpoint retractable pens come nicely boxed in a Writon box. The back of the box is stamped Made in China. Each pen is stamped Writon 1.0 on the pen clip in white. The pens are clear red plastic. The rubber comfort grip is very comfortable and is red rubber. The size of the barrel of these pens is perfect for me. I noticed that when I tried several of the pens that they write very smoothly immediately. The color of the red ink is very nice and dark red. I tried the ink on several different types of paper, both smooth and textured, and I could not get the red ink to smudge even when dragging my fingertip through fresh ink. These pens feel and write like a much more expensive pen. Highly recommend if you use red ink. You should definitely try these and you will not be disappointed.
