Wallace Antique Baroque 65pc

We have had this set as our every day flatware for SEVEN YEARS! We put it in the dishwasher EVERY DAY! i just sat down to supper tonight and realized it still shines beautifully. Very little scratching. It has never rusted. When I purchased this set I never expected it to last a lifetime, but its well on its way. I have never been more satisfied with any other purchase in my whole life (I'm almost 60). There is no way a written review can capture how good this product is.

Beautiful design and durable. Almost 10 years of daily use and dishwashing and still perfect. I love that the design is comparable to much more expensive brands. It’s definitely something unique different to what most people have.

This set of Wallace Stainless Silverware is beautiful. It could easily be used for formal dinner place settings for casual dining. I have purchased other Wallace Stainless products.Top quality. You can’t go wrong.

Truth is this pattern was ordered in error & returned for the correct pattern, by the same 'Wallace' vendor. So, I feel okay about reviewing this product.1st, I always buy 18/10 Flatware from a well-known Vendor, such as 'Wallace' who began his brand c. 18332nd, It's strength, durability, feel & weight to your touch, is the closest to Sterling Silver Flatware.3) They have an elegance in presentation. Excellent product for a high end rental property. I was able to populate both the dining room with 6 place settings & the kitchen with the other place settings so that both have upscale eating implements & the serving pieces easily filled the breakfront to replace estate pieces I had to remove.A little shiny but then again, I'm used to well worn english revere ware if you can imagine. But since I couldn't find pistol grip stainless here in the states, I simply matched the old SILVERWARE that I took out, with the Stainless matching set. So the house looks & feels like it should, without the estate pieces being at risk.I have the REAL USA MADE Liberty Stainless in a shell pattern for my own farm's use, to be able to buy American. But for the rental, I decided on the Wallace stainless, because it was still 18/8 & matched the old original pattern in the house.

I grew up with antique dishware and flatware. These remind me of the style and weight of those pieces. I love using them and seeing them on my 100yr old table!

This set arrived today, and it is very beautiful, but I am shocked by the size of the spoons, both soup and tea.Thank God I saved my old set, so I can compare them to make sure I am not imagining this....and I am not.The soup spoon is the size that the teaspoon usually is, and the teaspoon is a child's size. Also, the dinner fork has prongs that are sooooo long, it's scary. However, the stainless steel is 18/10 so you don't have to worry about it rusting. It also comes with a Hostess set. I love soup and have it a lot, so I will probably keep my old soup spoons, and use the ones from this set as teaspoons...... and throw the teaspoons from this set out.

They are just the right balance and weight. It is so nice to see them on a table setting or when I open my silverware drawer; matching and gleaming silverware. Such a treat They wash nicely in the dishwasher too.Not to fancy for every day wear.Thanks
