I was reading other people's reviews of good/bad and contemplating whether I still should buy that or not,and now I am glad that I did. My husband really loves it and he knows how this stuff works. Other people said that warped so quickly and became useless. I disagree on that one, just not put that directly on that fire pit prevents it from doing that. As you can see from my picture, my husband used some leftover pavers from the fire pit to raise it, so preventing from overheating. Hopes this will help you.

It's a perfect fit for the US Stove USSP31 firepit, sits right on top. I cooked grilled chicken the first night. Keep the grill top screen on the side until the fire settles down a bit though. The smokeless fire 🔥 while it is really going hot is too hot for the screen and will cause it to warp and sag. Let the fire burn down a bit, then put the grill top on the pit and start cookin'! This thing will last forever if you treat it well, take good care of it.

It’s worth the money

Really like this grill and at a great price. This fits perfectly on our fire pit (kind of a camp fire with a round masonry wall to keep the fire in).PROS: Low cost, perfect fit, handles do NOT get hot so can remove it to add woodCONS: warps in the heat, which is easily bent back into shapeIf the warping gets worse, will weld an extra bar or two across. Will buy another one of these should the grill completely burn out. But it is worth buying a replacement at this price.Overall, really pleased.

The media could not be loaded. I needed a sturdy foundation for a fountain I wanted to make. I had this heavy ceramic "side table" that I set over a basin for a fountain. I needed something sturdy and also had opens to run my water pump up. I think it works nicely. Haven't had to clean it at all.

Since we have not used the grill yet it's hard to write a review. The main reason we plan on using the grill is to cook on at home and camping. We did take it with us when camping but because of fire restrictions campfires were not allowed.

As others stated, the screen warped immediately, even with it lifted at least six inches above the top of my fire ring, around which I placed three layers of paving stones. I would never consider cooking on black paint anyway, so no problem. If I ever want to cook over my fire pit. I'll go to the local metal shop and have them make me a sturdy screen, like out of the metal used for landscape trailers or some such.The important thing is that it completely covers my 36" fire ring so that sparks cannot go flying into the surrounding area.

I have a fire pit in my back yard and the diameter of this grill/grate fits perfect. Very sturdy and big enough where you could cook for a dozen people on. I'm extremely happy with this purchase !
