My 8 year old loves this book. It's a struggle to get her to read but this book keeps her interested. The adults are enjoying it too.😁

Super high quality. I ordered the hard cover as a collector book for my 10yr old daughter. The story telling is great, and the artwork is high quality. My daughter read 54 pages in the first day because she was so intreaged. Thanks Cayote for sharing your storey - "Stay Brave, Stay wild" , hopefully Jo will catch you on one of your adventures. Lol

My son (6) loves Coyote and wanted a book. The story is great and he enjoys reading it, but the wording is a little advanced for age 6 to read completely on their own.

My son loves the different YouTube shows that Coyote Peterson has and he had wanted the book when it came out. My son just turned 7 and we got it for him this holiday season. The book is well written and at times presents like poetry, the way Coyote will describe the landscape, his internal thought process or the animal he is seeking. For us it has been a great way to encourage an enthusiasm for reading. Sometimes I will have my son read a paragraph and then I will read the rest of the page. It is fun for all of us to read, as well as educational and it gives you insight into Coyote's thoughts, fears and motivations which has added another, more personal layer to his work. I highly recommend!

I pre-ordered the book, a few months ago for my 6 year old son, who loves the Brave Wilderness Show. We received the book yesterday and it was a hit at bedtime last night and this morning! While he is not able to read all the words in the book on his own, he enjoyed listening to my husband and I read the 1st chapter for him. I thought the book was going to have colored illustrations, more suited for a "younger" child. However, the book still kept my son's interest, despite not containing colored illustrations he is more accustomed to seeing in books for his age. With that being said, the pencil illustrations are detailed and lovely and Coyote's descriptive accounts of his adventures kept my son's interest. I would recommend this book.

I was worried that the content of this book would be too similar to the Youtube videos, so I thought perhaps it would not excite my child as much as watching the videos. However, that proved not to be the case at all! My child is discovering lots of surprises in the pages even though he is an avid viewer of all Coyote's Youtube videos. This book keeps him reading. The book is basically an autobiography of Coyote's adventures since his boyhood, and it pulls the reader through his journey that led him to the love of wildlife. As in the videos, Coyote always maintains the utmost respect for the animals he encounters, and when he captures them, he promptly returns them to their habitat.

We love Coyote Peterson, and my 10 yr old (who is a slightly reluctant reader) read the entire book on his own within a couple weeks after getting it for his birthday! Definitely a win!

Great book! Some nights I read chapters to my son and some nights he reads it by himself. Great stories, we love it!

Fantastic reading material for my 10 year old grandson! Had some great laughs reading some of the chapters together! Excellent book and well written.. makes you feel like your right behind Coyote in his adventures!

Brilliant book that me and my 5 year old are enjoying for bedtime reading. We are big fans of the Brave Wilderness show and this book compliments it well. I love the beautiful illustrations on the pages to! Be brave stay wild!
