I honestly love this item , even though I didn’t hang it from the ceiling , due to having children and not wanting to risk them dragging the whole ceiling with them if it were to fall I choose to not use hook . Let me tell you though this makes you’re look more luxurious than regular curtain hangers !

This rod was an exceptional value, it was easy to install, sturdy and well made. We used 4 brackets and we are in love with the end result. The only thing I would say is that the dowels supplied are not strong enough for the rod my recommendation is to use another dowel with grooves on it for a more secure support. This was my first ceiling rod installation and I highly recommend it.

I have a large porch that gets too hot to enjoy in summer and lacks privacy. To fix that, I bought a bunch of these rods in different sizes and curtains to go with them. They’re easy to hang, though having a couple of people makes it easier. Because the ends come off, I can get the curtains down to wash them. They’ve made a big difference in how finished my porch looks and how private it feels. I can’t wait to get the rest of the curtains finished!

Pros: They look very elegant once up. They add a bit of a wow factor to the room. Everyone compliments them. Since they go into the ceiling, they are VERY sturdy when you screw them into a beam.Cons: They rods aren’t the strongest, in fact mine came a little bent in multiple places. I wish I could get a partial refund for that but never really the case with Amazon. It wasn’t the worst because once they are up with curtains, you don’t notice it unless you’re really looking closely.It’s also, not the easiest to hang up alone because it’s soooooo long. Not impossible though.

The mounting brackets are fine. The paint does not come off. They seem sturdy enough. The problem is the rod. Very flimsy! The bronze coating on the rod is complete garbage! It comes off just sliding the rod pieces together. The bronze coating comes off even more when sliding the curtain across it. Over priced cheap junk.

Easy to install

I ordered a length of 120-170 inches. It came with 4 ceiling mounts and the screws to mount them. I didn't see any images of how long the mounts were from base to where the top of the curtain rod would be so I am adding that. All the materials feel very sturdy and the packaging protected them all in transit.
