National Cycle VStream Windscreen (15.75") (Dark Smoke) Compatible with 08-18 Kawasaki KLR650

This screen works extremely well on my gen 2 KLR (2011). It was a snap to install and keeps the wind off the chest. It does not impact the bikes handling in any way. Well worth the money!

Was very easy to install, took about 5 min.I don’t understand what some of the other people say about the fitment of the shield.It’s adjustable so there is no reason you should have a gap anywhere.Also some have said you will loose your grommets, that also shouldn’t happen as they fit very well into the new shield.All in all it looks nice and now I’ll take it for a ride and see the difference in wind deflection.

So I've been ridding with this new windscreen for a couple days now. It's great for city riding, there's no wind pressure against my chest. The only problem is whenever I go over 70mph the pressure that use to push against my shoulders now pushes against the top of my helmet so my head wobbles a little. Not sure if I can fix this? It's actually pretty annoying, the only good thing is that I do most my riding below these speeds. May return may not. FYI I'm 5'10", I've been wanting to get a new helmet maybe that'll help.-just an aside but the first time the product was sent it was actually stolen from my porch, so I talked with the seller and they shipped me a new one asap so that was cool!

Fits my Kawasaki KLR 650.The windscreen is plastic and tinted as described; see photos. It is relatively easy to install however;I had to purchase extra bolts because one of the bolts fell into the ignition part behind the windscreen,Item only comes with 4 bolts and 4 rubber washers/mounting braces.The 4 rubber washers/mounting braces that it comes with are VERY EASY TO LOOSE!So be advised.When placing the windscreen in between the ignition/controls and the metal piece where the old windshield was there are washers that need to be at the front of the windscreen itself; IT IS VERY TEDIOUS TO KEEP THE WASHERS FROM FALLING OUT DURING INSTALLATION;I do apologize if this is hard to understand. I did my best to describe the installation process.

Thought it got lost in shipping; I was about to give up and cancel with Amazon but it showed up with no damage.The windscreen works great on my KLR 650. My complaint is that the lower attachment cutouts are rounded rather than hooked as on the OEM unit (second picture) causing the windscreen to not engage the stays which creates a gap (first picture). But the windscreen is secure and does not vibrate. Otherwise it does it's job very well.

Went on easily and fit perfectly, but more importantly, really takes the wind off of the torso. I can see over it, and there is no unwarranted buffeting. It is built sturdily and doesn't flop around in the wind. Riding is now much more relaxing. Kudos to the designer! (You know who you are 😁)

Works better than expected. Keeps wind off chest. Can see over it nicely.
