This bed was pretty straightforward to put together, I would recommend not hammering in anything too tight and definitely don’t nail anything until you’ve got the whole thing together because some pieces may need to adjust. Took less than 2 hours to assemble. Feels super sturdy and seems to be plenty of support with a box spring, if you don’t have a box spring I think you would need to add support for the mattress. The bed sits a little higher than I like with a box spring so I may think about trying to add more supports so I can just do a mattress in the future but that’s really my only complaint about this bed!

Great quality, very sturdy but a lot of pieces to put together

Absolutely love it! At first, we thought this wouldn’t be a sturdy bed frame, but after we built it, we realized it is. Great bed frame, good quality wood!

First, this is a DIY project. It took over 10 hours including assembly and vanishing. Some tenons had to be sanded to fit. It didn't have any 2" nails as mentioned in the directions, so I used the ones provided. It turns out they went through, splintering the wood as they exited. I didn't realize this until turning it over, when the damage was done. This significantly mars the finished piece, but returning it with a fair amount of work done didn't seem a pleasant option, so I went ahead. Apart from the damaged places, it seems to be a nice piece. I got a slat set for support. It works with that without an interspring mattress.

Very solid bed, was worried that it might not be sturdy enough. Not the case at all. Somewhat tricky to assemble, but not too bad at all. The customer service is great. Love the bed !

Great looking bed, but if you actually like to sleep, there may not be a worse bed. There isn’t enough support for the mattress, I have a new mattress by the way, so it sags through the cross supports. So I get to go buy a sheet of plywood and stuff under the mattress now. Not to mention that you nail the thing together so it makes returning it mission impossible. An actual bed of nails would have provided more support. Keep shopping, don’t buy this bed unless you hate the person sleeping on it. Not to mention it comes unfinished, so add that to your calendar. I’d rather burn it as firewood than sleep on it one more night as is.
