It's a switch box
It's well built and there are a lot of punch-outs so mounting is a snap.

NOT compatible with Decora style switches and outlets!
Awesome boxes, very heavy duty and solid. Took off a star because the metal tabs you mount the outlet or switch with BLOCK the wallplate screws from being attached if you use Decora style outlet or switch. That should be noted in the description! Caused me to have to rebuy standard style outlets and switches and do a BIG Amazon return. : (

Be prepared to drill your own side holes if mounting to a stud
The box I received did not have the small side holes as shown in the picture. I had to drill my own to mount it.

A welcome sight on any project.
The media could not be loaded. The difference between these and your run-of-the-mill boxes is the QC before they leave the factory. the corners and edges have been burred, there’s no flash, all of the knockouts are punched clean through for ease of removal but yet they’re still secure enough just to remain in place forever. It just seems like everything I buy these days I have to run a file across it before I can handle it, these I don’t have to.
