My mouth gets dry when I run — I’m a mouth breather — so I always stick in some gum before I start. Pur peppermint has been my gum of choice recently, and here’s why. It’s a 5K gum. For about three miles it keeps me hydrated — not with constant chewing or anything, just hanging out in my mouth with an occasional munch here and there when needed — and it has a good consistency and texture. Unlike other gums, it doesn’t start falling apart with all the air coming in or lack of use. But at the three-mile mark, it’s time for another piece.This works well for me. The flavor is good, and it stimulates enough saliva to keep me going until I can stop and properly hydrate. The other flavors don’t work at all. Peppermint is the winner for my needs.There’s more gum in this bag than I expected — a lot of miles — and the price is definitely reasonable for the benefits.

I switched over to this gum from Mentos Spearmint gum and while there are differences, I prefer this one. Mentos has a strong flavor initially that lasts longer than the PUR but once the flavor is gone, it’s GONE. With this gum I noticed that there isn’t such a bold flavor like Mentos to start out with but there is a “spearmint residue” that remains even after the initial bold flavor is gone, if that makes sense? I really like this gum. I often have dry mouth and this gum actually does the trick to take care of that issue. The flavor stays for a very long time which is wonderful. Can't say that about a lot of gum on the market. It remains soft and chewable too which I appreciate. Some gum gets so hard that your jaw hurts. Not this gum. It's as fresh and soft as when you start. The variety pack was my first choice as I wasn't sure which flavor I might enjoy more. Now that I know I can focus on that type when I make my next purchase. It's a very good product. I will definitely be buying more.

I cannot have artificial sugar since it is a migraine trigger. I have tried many gums without artificial aspartame sweeteners. Pur is the best one I’ve found. The texture is just like any other gum and doesn’t have a crumbly feeling. The flavor is long lasting. We buy this in so many flavors. Our whole family loves it.

Initial gum flavor drops off quick but stabilizes at around 40% flavor. Unlike other sugar free gums with more questionable sweeteners (i.e. Extra, Trident) the flavor doesn't turn gross after about 20-30 minutes. It just keeps going for hours and maintains it's texture (and flavor), which saves me a lot of pieces of gum! It's also a healthier sweetener option.

I really like this gum! The mint flavor is refreshing and it really helps with my sugar cravings. It’s not the longest-lasting gum out there, but it does the job — and it’s definitely better than me reaching for chocolate every time. Perfect for when I need a little something to keep me from snacking. Will be buying again!

I really like this product, except for the microplastics. That is the reason why I just canceled my subscription. I hope they eventually change it so that it does not have microplastics.
