I don't know if i just got super unlucky because I went through tons of reviews before I ended up choosing this deck, but the plies in the deck that i received were junk straight out of the box. I put my board together and put it down, tried to stand a manual and it both sounded and felt like the deck was literally falling apart right around the rear truck. I put my hand physically down on the board right where it felt like it was doing it and i could definitely feel in my hand the board cracking and creaking. flipped board around and did the same thing and it didn't do it. deck is junk and there isn't a single scuff or ride mark. pretty weak honestly.

So I bought this board strictly for decor so I can’t actually speak on how well it works in action BUT I will say aesthetically speaking the board does differ from the product photo and also came with some flaws. In the photo the pink wood is not visible from the back (it’s pictured as plain wood) but irl the pink is VERY visible which for me is fine but I know that could be an issue for someone else who expected a plain wood coloring there. Also the actual design is peeling near the ‘ccs’ logo (see photo) it’s not enough to return but since I’m using this for decor it’s kind of a bummer; I wouldn’t mind if this was a board I would actually be skating on though! I would say all in all for the price the board itself is still nice enough for the purpose I bought it for

I gotta say CCS blew my mind as far as durability goes these boards are absolute beasts. Their pop lasts for ever, they get pressure cracks but they don't end spreading deeper in to the deck which shows just how durable it actually is. No delaminating at all, the feel of the board is comfortable and solid still after 6 months of use. I ride my boards till the pop is dead or cracks deep enough too ruin the integrity and flexibility. After 6 months that hasn't happened yet.

My daughter took up skating like her big brother and when I saw the prices of the boards at the stores I couldn't see myself buying one for someone just starting out. He said that these boards are super cheap so he was a little weary when I ordered it off of a recommendation of a fellow skater but when it arrived he was very surprised what a good quality of board it was he said it's perfect for when you're starting out but at the same time it's still a solid board for more advanced skaters. I know nothing about skateboarding so his recommendations help me.

Seller details the deck to be 8.25” wide. I was excited to see it was arriving today so I could skate again since my previous board broke. I didn’t think it would be an issue and just placed the grip and trucks on it before realizing that it was in fact not an 8.25”, instead it was a 7.75” deck. This has further delayed me from being able to skate again comfortably. Width is everything. when it comes to skating comfortably and consistently. Now I’m left skating what seems to be a toothpick compared to the 8.25” that I was misled to believe I was receiving. Hopefully they can take care of this for me so I can get back on the board again quickly.

Worth it. This deck has survived 40+ hours of semi demanding flatground and flat rail, still has good pop, doesn't flex, hasn't chipped. I weigh 165lbs and land on bolts 70% of the time.

Good deck. The truck mounting holes were perfect. The edge was nicely routed and sealed and I was impressed to see the center ply was stained light green-- a fun detail to discover when I was assembling the board. My daughter uses this board, but I've ridden on this deck and it's stable and solid.

The board is what youd expect and is what the product is described as. Its really down to buyers choice and ride prefrences, but for a blank 70$ board, you cant go wrong.
