Great read. Great man. Inspiring to see his ups and downs of business. Inspiring to see his faith through it all.

Great read, really enjoyed it. Learnt much toward my business as well as spiritual. I was disappointed however to read more about the troubled relationship with his son John via other online research. I felt that this very important part of Bill's was glazed over and perhaps a very one sided reflection. This includes the silence over John's addictions as well as his version of leaving Marriott International. The duty of the author is to write from all perspectives especially on Bill who almost makes us all look below average. We would probably all relate more and even feel as qualified to be religious if we heard the worts and all story rather than purely portraying Bill as a saint.

What a story. Remarkable tale of one of the greatest hotelier ever. His vision, work ethic and serving the church too.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the history of Bill Marriott. He has had a fascinating life. The chapter on 9/11 was a total surprise to me. I had no idea what was happening at the Marriott in NYC. Well written, easy to follow. However due to time constraints; I also have the audio CD's and have listened to much of the second half of the book so far in my car. If I don't care for the reader voice, I stop listening to that particular audio book tape. I found Bruce Lindsay's voice very nice for this book. Definitely recommend this Bill Marriott book.

Well written and a great insight into the Marriott family and the industry`s greatest hotelier. I have a lot more respect for the man and his operations.

I read this book on my Kindle first, then bought a hard back copy for my son for his birthday. Bill Marriott is fascinating as a person and a business leader. Loved the book.

An extremely well researched book about Bill Marriott. It gives insight into his remarkable career and includes sometimes humorous, sometimes inspiring stories. I highly recommend it!

I was expecting this gift anxiously to give it to my husband for Christmas but when it arrived today, it was broken in a corner and it has two stickers in the cover and one of them won’t come out and the other does but then the cover of the book will look ugly and I don’t like it for it to be like that. I will return it and please be extra careful with these small details. Thanks
