Fascinating
This was so intriguing, I learned what plants and vegetables were actually poisonous to people and animals. It's definitely worth reading and learning, especially if you have children or pets.

Best Plant Caution Book Ever!!
This is an incredibly informative gardening book, alerting me to plants that can harm or even kill my small dogs. This author is schooled in the properties of plants which can harm you. She gives great advice, caution, and whether or not each plant is worth the risk. No thank you! There are so many flowering plants which are NOT poisonous, why would I take the chance? There are beautiful roses, camelias, zinnias and many other safe plants for my yard. I'll stick to those. Just remember, even plants that are safe for people to eat, may be unsafe for your pets. Fence them! Five stars, and then some!!

Almost perfect
While I loved the beautiful color photographs of each plant described in this book, I was slightly disappointed by the scarcity of the information. I would like to know more about how these plants have been used medicinally and why some are included that really don’t seem all that poisonous, while others weren’t mentioned. Otherwise, it’s a handy tome for anyone interested in poisonous plants and their characteristics.

Worth the small price for the photos and stats
This is a catalog worth browsing to get a quick idea of zone and other stats for some commonly grown garden plants. The text is not particularly illuminating; reads like a high school book report written the night before due.

I love this book!!!
I am a bit new to gardening and wanted to plant a fragrant moon and day garden. When I went looking at plants in stores, I took my huge Newfador with me. I found out that my dog loves fragrant flowers as much as I do. He stuck his nose in every pretty and aromatic flower we found. Although he didn't try to eat any of the leaves etc. I still want to be careful since I now know he will be sticking his face in every flower I plant. This book is easily comprehensible and a very easy reference to what might affect him and mu cats as apposed to cattle etc. As well as what part of the plant holds the toxins. I have found that some of the flowers I have been considering might not be the best and have found easy alternatives.

Great Information
I have a little dog who loves to chew things in the back yard, so because of this I felt I should know more about plants that could become dangerous to her health! This book not only talks about the dangers of these plants , but also has pictures to help identify them.
