Good hiking backpack for a short woman
I’m a 4’11” senior woman with bad knees. Needed a well fitting backpack for hiking. For being a bag that fits a small frame it’s great. For being a small bag it holds a lot. Seems well made and comfortable. Difficult to find a small bag with a chest and waist strap and this has both. Sufficient compartments for organization. Not sure about the side mesh pockets for water bottles. Good price too.

Perfect Backpack for Smaller People
I really like this backpack. I use it to pack my computer, related accessories, and water bottles when I travel. What is so perfect about this backpack is that it's smaller than other backpacks that hit my upper back which is uncomfortable. I'm short so this backpack sits exactly at my waist level. Plus it has waist straps and a chest strap to take the weight off my shoulders. It's easy to put on and take off and it stows nicely under an airplane seat.

Disneyland Essential!
I LOVE this backpack! Super lightweight with many pockets for all your needs. I purchased this because I needed a smaller bag, bigger than a purse, that would allow me to carry everything I needed for a Disneyland trip-specifically a rainy one. It worked perfect for the rainy day, kept everything dry, and I felt like everything was secure. It has many pockets and I especially like the inside that has a pocket for a wallet or important things INSIDE the bag rather than on the outside. Zippers work great and I had no issues. This bag held up for many functions afterwards and I carry it everywhere now!

Nice little day pack.
Nice color. A little smaller than I expected but it still works fine. I wish the pack had more places on the outside to clamp things onto.

Lasted me 7 years+
I bought this pack 7 years ago, I travel frequently to hike and take it with me for every hiking trip, every beach visit, every camping trip…..everywhere. It is heavily used and still in tact. The ONLY reason I Am finally replacing it is because It’s so old and starting to stink from all the active outdoor use. I was so excited to find out it was still being sold!

Perfect size with plenty of space
Can fit my 32 oz bottle with extra space for snacks. Many pockets to keep small items. Was able to pack socks, gloves, beanie and travel size sunscreen. Perfect size for a day hike.

Do you have a neck?
If you have a neck, this backpack is not for you. I am shocked by the number of positive reviews for this backpack, especially adults that purchased it for their own use. I bought this for my 10 year old son as a go bag. As soon as I had him try it on I knew it was a problem. Both shoulder straps were resting one inch up the side of his neck. He wouldn't have been able to walk 1/4 mile without this bothering him. I had him put on his Land's End Classmate school backpack to confirm this is not how bags normally fit on his shoulders. The difference is astonishing. Look at the bag in between 2 different sizes of kid's backpacks. The Sunhiker has no space built in for a neck. The Sunhiker seems well made and has enough space for a day hike which is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. I returned it and bought him a Nevo Rhino bag which fit perfectly.

Works for what it's worth
It's good for the price. Could use longer and stronger straps though. If you are a stocky shouldered guy, get something else.
