My husband has longed for this style hat to keep his bare head warm during the colder months of the year. Being an outdoorsman who loves his Filson wool jacket, this hat is a nice finishing touch to his look! We measured the circumference of his head at 22 5/8" and ordered size Med according to the manufacturer chart. The fit is just right, not to tight not to loose. Note: there is not any elastic in the band, the only stretch or give will occur naturally from the wool but it's not enough to say it's stretchy.Hubby is very pleased with the craftsmanship, look and style of this hat at a fair price. He highly recommends this and would happily purchase again. Item shipped promptly and arrived on time.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. I had planned on wrapping it and placing it under the tree but it was delivered in a transparent bag LOL. So when he got the mail, he immediately saw what it was. Oh well! He was super excited and immediately put it on. It's very well made and looks great!

Quality, good fit

I made the foolish mistake of trying to save money by purchasing a flat cap from another Amazon retailer. After 14 days, the cap arrived from China. I got exactly what I paid for. Wrong color. Didn’t fit very well. Poor construction. Free return turned out not to be free at all, as it required that I use their label...which required that I prepay the return shipping to China for an amount greater than the cost of the hat! I immediately ordered from the fine people at Mucros and received a good-looking well-made cap exactly as described in their text and photos and in less than a week. After trying this one on, I chalked up the loss as a valuable lesson, pitched the cheap knockoff into the trash, and ordered another two caps from Mucros Weavers. They are a stellar longtime reliable producer and their prices are reasonable for the high quality hat which will last for years. Want an Irish traditional cap? Buy it direct from the Irish!

I knew something was wrong when the delivery kept being delayed.The title say it all. Paid $50 for a genuine Irish woollen hat and received a $16 Chinese hatMucros hats are truly superb. Unfortunately I didn’t receive what I ordered. After a very long wait my money was refunded

Fit perfect when i initially put it on but now its slightly too large however the hats very well made and i love it .

Bought it as a birthday gift for my dad. He absolutely loves it. Can't separate it from him now. This is a worthy buy ships directly from Ireland so takes time. But worth the wait. Excellent product would surely recommend.
