Good quality carpet. Resistant to cat scratches too.My only complaint is the carpet gets kinda slimy/sticky when it gets wet. This is after it got wet in rain for first time. Also an FYI - The bottom part is rubber, so the floor the carpet is on takes forever to dry.

I needed to replace the ugly green outdoor carpet on my condo's balcony and searched for quite a while before settling on this at Amazon. I even visited several big box home stores to see what they had in stock .... did NOT like anything they had at all. The reviews for this indoor/outdoor carpet were positive and I took the plunge. I am very satisfied with the quality, look and feel of this carpet for now. In a year, I'll post another review on how it's holding up under the Florida sun and rain. But for now, I'm super happy and several friends have commented on how much better my balcony looks. A couple of things: my balcony is covered and screened in, gets the morning sun and will get wet in heavy squally rains. Now for the good stuff:I had to order the 6'x15' roll as my balcony is 5'10" x 14'. It was very easy to cut with a pair of scissors and a utility knife. The backing is a rubberized kind of material. The carpet did not fray when cutting it. I was concerned that the edges would flare up, but the carpet laid perfectly down and I did not have to put some weights on the corners as was my original plan. The color is perfect for me. I was concerned that it may be too light, but it's a tan color and not too light or too dark (see pics - it's a bit lighter than the pics themselves). The feel under my bare feet is really good for outdoor carpet (fairly soft) , not that scratchy feel you get with the green outdoor stuff. I was pleasantly surprised by this! Now I enjoy sitting on my balcony when before I rarely went out there. For $133 bucks, I'm super happy. Thank you Amazon! Now I'm off to buy new furniture for my great new balcony.

The balcony of our condo was really unsightly due to some cracks in the concrete after a hurricane. This seemed like the easiest solution since the dimensions were almost perfect as is, with no cutting. I did end up trimming the width just a little but it was super easy to cut. I also needed to notch out several places where we have posts, but again, it was easy to cut. I cheated a little and rather than cut out the notched areas completely, I folded them under. I was a little concerned those areas might tear a bit so I wanted to keep the extra fabric in tact, but I don't think it's going to tear. This is working out great because it's so much neater looking and the bonus is, it's a nice soft surface for bare feet. It seems to be wearing fine. I used some double sided tape at the edges and it mostly holds it down. When we get a big wind gust it lifts a little but settles back down. I could try some stronger tape but it doesn't seem to be a big deal. When I first unrolled the roll of carpet, it was slightly curled up on the ends, but flattened out quickly and I set a couple of heavy items on top to speed up the process.

Pile was much thinner than described, so I returned it.

This carpet looks great on our veranda. It was extremely easy to install. We just rolled it out making sure we kept it straight. It laid right down, no curling at edges. We thought we would have to cut off one end because it was slightly longer than our veranda, but we just folded the end under and it looks great. Unexpected bonus is the carpet is so soft, makes going barefoot a pleasure!

I got this for my back porch. I live in a rental and the cement on the porch was in poor shape and I was tired of looking at it. This makes the porch look so inviting and comfy. A big plus is when my grandchildren come over and they fall down on the porch, they no longer hit hard cement. They love it, I love it, and my dogs love it. It lays flat and didn't come up with the strong winds we had yesterday. It sweeps easily and would be easy to vacuum as well. Wish I'd have gotten this a long time ago. Now when I walk out onto my porch I can be barefoot and it feels great. The porch now feels like an extension of the house.

I used this product for an outside covered porch cement floor. It is very thin but stays in place. It is not beautiful - but serves the purpose and you can easily throw another colorful rug over to get a splash of color. Was able to get the size I needed for not a lot of money so I was very pleased. Would buy again.

This works perfectly for the challenge I faced when realizing that my new earthen floor was too fragile for the heavy looms that would be used in my studio. I wanted something strong, smppnh & nonintrusive. The color I chose is close to my floor color. The rug is sturdy, with a low pile so not a tripping hazard. It arrived at the time promised & was easy to unroll with no curling. I especially appreciate finding something no-nonsense with no daisies or other superfluous design.

I orginally purchased this outdoor rug for my outside deck floor which is faded pretty badly. When I ordered this product; however, I received the incorrect color. I ordered brown and I got black. The seller apologized for his mistake and immediately made arrangements to pick up my incorrect color rug as well as ship me out the correct color rug at his expense. When I finally did receive the brown color outdoor rug I originally ordered, I discovered it was too light in color as my deck is dark brown. Despite my disappointment, I'm confident that this product is a great quality outdoor rug and the customer service that I received was excellent so that is why I gave my review 5 stars. Product and seller highly recommended to any buyer!!!

Nothing like picture. Color way off. Looked like a stronger loop. It’s not. It’s soft and ugly. Had too long to return. So cheap

Great item for the deck, the backing has really good grip on the deck wood. The product is not stinky when opened, unlike some other new carpet that comes with very toxic type of smell. Color can go with deck very well, made our deck very comfy and secure for the dogs. The real test can be after it is exposed weather elements as we have severe weather with extreme heat and cold here. I'll update the review after using this for a while but for the price, it is a bargain. Shipping was fast too!P.S. An update, it finally started to degrade after 4 years of harsh hot and cold weather!

I ordered the 6X20' roll. Came very well packaged and wrapped. Carpet is not too thick and just right for outdoors and lies flat. I haven't had to cut it but it looks like cutting wouldn't be an issue. The molded backing would keep it in place. Its perfect to take the edge off walking on concrete patio. Just perfect. I may order more for the garage. For the price, this is a great deal.*Update: May 14,2013. Just ordered another 6X35' for my patio. I like the rug some much we are expanding the current sized on on the patio and putting our 6X20' in the garage. It takes the edge off walking on concrete just about right. Not too thick, not too thin.

Only thing that’s missing that would be a great add is if it was bound on the edges. It’s very light in weight and does shift. It’s also a bit slippery

I enclosed my patio & wanted to keep the floor warmer in the winter months. This product was easy to install with only 4 cuts & friends wanted to know whom I used to do the install. I was flattered because it was my 1st time to attempt this. I used carpet tape on the edges & bought all of the correct tools from Amazon to do the the job correctly. Just google it & follow instructions. This product was thin enough to cut easily & soft enough to go bare footed & be comfortable. I am very pleased with this product.
