Very handy and worked well even after 1 week!

Used this for Hurricane Lane and it performed as expected! We filled it but didn't end up needing to use the water inside because we were spared by the hurricane. I will say that although the bags can't be reused, the price of "wasting" one for a false alarm, was well-worth the peace of mind it gave us! We left it filled in the tub for one week just to see how it fared over time and it was a-ok. The water tasted normal and there was no evidence or mold/mildew in the liner which was something I was concerned about. A few other things...1) Make sure the aquapod is evenly spread around the tub before you start as well as while you are filling it. Once it reaches a certain point of being filled it's hard to adjust/shift because it's so heavy. Ours was slightly off-center towards the faucet side of the tub but by the time I realized it it was too late. We probably could have filled it a bit more if it was more evenly placed in the tub. Not a huge difference but in a real water emergency it might have mattered.2) The set comes with 2 liners but only 1 pump/siphon. You can fill the 2nd bag and just rubber band it shut which is easy enough but just thought I'd point it out in case people thought it came with 2 pumps. If you use both and you only have 2 tubs in the house think of where you might shower/rinse off if you do have enough water to do so because you definitely can't fit in the tub with a filled aquapod.3) We asked our neighbor if he wanted to use the 2nd liner that we had but he said no bc he wasn't sure if his house could support the weight of all that water. His bathroom is on the 2nd floor. Ours was also on a 2nd floor and was fine but the neighbor is an engineer so I figure he knows what he's talking about. 65 gallons of water supposedly weighs 500+ lbs plus the weight of the tub. I will probably use it in our 1st floor bathroom next time instead of the 2nd floor for this reason.4) Take off any jewelry that the plastic liner can get snagged on before installing. Yes, sounds like common sense but I almost snagged it on my ring when putting it in the tub.5) If your tub drain "lever" is the kind that sticks out into the tub above the drain (like Pinocchio's nose) it may poke your filled aquapod. I put a washcloth over it to lessen the "pokeyness" of the drain lever so it wouldn't cause any stress points in the liner.(The colorful things that look like they are in the water are actually non-skid appliques on the floor of the tub. They are under the aquapod.)

FALSE LISTING - YOU WON'T GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

BUYER BEWARE - NOT AS ADVERTISED!!!!!!! Okay - I will say that this product came in a timely manner which was appreciated with Hurricane Florence barreling our way - BUT it was advertised as an aqua pod kit WITH an extra liner for a second use. I ordered TWO of these - one for myself and one for my parents - so I should have gotten FOUR liners and TWO full kits. I only got two regular kits with NO EXTRA LINERS. IT WILL GET TO YOU FAST BUT YOU WON'T GET WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE PAYING FOR - SO USE CAUTION. :(

Best kit on the market!

I’ve used it twice so far. Once for the Hawaii missile scare, and again for Hurricane Lane. It’s easy to use, doesn’t leak, and easy to pump out. Customer service is great and it is still being made in the USA!! I paired it with this siphon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M5D2XZQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_49AHBbAW6438C and a rubber band around the hose and bladder. The water comes out into a bucket with ease. We were able to use the siphon until the water level got low enough to pick up the bag, and pour it into a bucket. It works and it’s doable. If you do use a siphon, remember the physics of waterlevels, equalization, etc...aloha! 🤙🏾

Great American Made Water Storage Kit!!!

I purchased the AquaPod bathtub water kit for my emergency preparedness kit and I quite pleased with it. Although I haven't had to use it (Thank Heaven!!!), I'm sure it will work perfect as it appears to be well made and perfectly suited for it's intended purpose. I would have given it a Five Star rating, but I thought the transfer pump that is included would be heavier and better made... :>( I purchased a much heavier transfer pump and have included it in my kit and would recommend other purchasers would do the same. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this American made water storage kit!!!

I used this when we were flooding in Louisiana and it worked as advertised. It allowed us to have drinking and cooking water while we were under a boil advisory.

WHY WOULDN'T everyone want this as a backup. We feel more secure having them.

We bought this over a year ago for survival gear, and I haven't had occasion to use it BUT AM SO GLAD I have it. We keep it right by the tub. It looks plenty easy to install quickly if and when we would need it. What WOULD you do in an emergency Bug IN situation if you do NOT have a large supply of water on hand. We do keep water in 5Gal containers on hand, but those are VERY heavy, take up a lot of space, and we change out the water every 18 months. THIS is a great BACKUP for an emergency with a HIGH VOLUME. I can't figure why everyone doesn't have one, especially in this day and age.

Great for natural disasters or emergencies

I live in a state frequently threatened by hurricanes. This AquaPodKit was in my emergence kit for years and this year we were threatened by a hurricane that looked like it might be a direct hit. I used this kit to store water in my bathtub and it worked perfectly. Luckily, the hurricane made a close pass, but did not affect us with strong winds. To drain the water I had to cut the plastic liner with a knife so each bag is only for a single use. It provides clean drinking water or a source of water to flush your toilet in case of a power/water outage.

Aqua Pod came to the rescue!

I decided to fill the Aqua-Pod in my unused bathroom tub prior to some bad weather "just in case". Lucky we didn't need it. That was until a water line broke on our property leaving us without running water for a few days. It made it easy to refill the gallon jugs used to flush the toilets without having to lug it from our stored water reserves. It is amazing how much water you can go through in only a few days for cooking cleaning, hand washing, and flushing toilets.
