Truly fit a lot of papers. I love this to organize my tax records for every year.

I purchased this file envelope to store my Living Trust notebook and notebook of all our accounts for family members to have when I pass. It is a perfect fit for both notebooks. The file envelope fits safely in my safe. This is exactly what I was looking for. The stretch elastic band to secure closure is perfect for what I needed it for. I’m sure if you were using it often every day then it would probably eventually stretch out. There won’t be any use, since I have it tucked away in the safe. So really can’t comment on longevity of the file envelope. This review is to show you how satisfied I am with this product and to also give you an idea of what it can be used for. I use this product to store health insurance documents. I ordered the legal size for ease of use. Appears to have adequate storage for my needs

Very nice product.Just wish that label slot was on flap or back. Have to open flap to see label, or add stick on label on outside.More colors would be helpful in this, as well.

Sturdy, right size, good material.

I just grabbed this as an accordion filer for school with no real expectations other than it would hold paper in the same order in which it was inserted. Let me tell you, I was impressed with the quality of this filer when I pulled it out of the box.The expanding sides are rubberized and thick. It would be very difficult to tear them by mistake, and they would easily take sliding a pen clip over them repeatedly if that's where you like to keep your pen. The folder stays pretty much as thin as it can when holding only a short stack of paper.The polyvinyl folder itself is very thick as well. You won't accidentally crease it or puncture it. The stitching that holds the fabric to the edges of the polyvinyl are even, and there aren't any extraneous threads hanging loose.The only possible issue I could see down the road is the elastic band that wraps around the folder might eventually break or lose its elasticity. It's thinner and weaker than your typical hairband. If it were to ever break on me, it would be simple to replace. Most accordion filers have similar bands, and it's designed to remove very easily.

Great file for holding all your taxes or personal documents. Comes with a note tag on the inside panel as well so you can write what’s inside.

It's a nice well made file folder, but I was disappointed because it will not expand 5-1/4", at best 4-1/4" and that's top or bottom of the gusset and stretching firmly with a good amount of pressure.
