These are a MUST if you have pond plants!!!
My husband and I just discovered these pots this summer. We really wish we would have known such a thing existed sooner! We have had our pond for 10 years and spend hundreds of dollars on aquatic plants each spring. We always put the plants in our pond in the plastic container they come in and halfway through the summer the roots choke each other out and the plants end up dying. This summer we put the plants in these pots and it's amazing what a difference they make! Our plants are bigger than ever already and it's only June. The roots have more than enough room to grow and spread.

Perfect size and flexible
These are great and make planting ponds so easy. I put a little soil in the bottom, plant next, then added some nice black rocks to weight it down.

Works great but kind of big for 1 little water lily.
So easy to use - just fill with pond plant media (like potting soil for pond plants), put a fertilizer tab in the media and insert the plant. You can top it off with some pretty pebbles.Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because it seems big too me - wish the fabric bags came in a smaller size too.

These pot are great quality.. I would buy them again. They even give you a screen for the bottom. Love it

Newcomer to pond plants
This is our first foray into pond plants, as we recently had our pond enlarged. The person at the nursery where we got our lily said to just leave it in the nursery pot with the existing soil. However, the pond water started getting cloudy, so I ordered pond pots and pond soil from Amazon and repotted it. Havenât had any problem since, and since the pot is soft-sided, it can adapt to the rock shelf better than the hard plastic nursery pot. It has been about three months and we are on our second bloom. I still have a lot to learn, but I highly recommend this pond pot.

Plants are so happy
I like these much better than the hard plastic, holeless pots my pond plants came in. Now I don't have to be quite so obsessive about my water level going below the rim of the pot. They are easy to place and my plants are filling them out and looking happy. I have one pot left, and am eagerly awaiting some watercress seeds that I want to try. Next year when my waterlily is larger, I plan to get the large size to repot it.
