Allstar ALL22107 Roll Cage Kit Standard Mini Stock

I installed this into my 2005 cobalt. The front legs were a little too long and the angle could have been a bit steeper. Ended up cutting about 3 inches off for it to fit. The rest of the cage fit well including the door bars. All of the coping was a good fit. I ended up rolling my car with 3 rolls on the track after clipping a tire going about 50mph and the cage held up very well… the car not so much.Planning on setting up another car and putting another one of these cages into it. My brother also put the same cage into his 05 neon and the cage was also too tall and had to be cut down some. Better too long then too shortBoth of our cars were 4 door. We both had to bitch our door pillar (where the door latches) almost completely out. I looked at other 4 door cars at the track and they also had the pillar notched.

Pretty sure the negative reviews are from people that don’t know what they are doing. It’s a universal kit, it’s not gonna just fit right in your car. You have to do some cutting and modifications. Went together just fine for me. If the pre cuts are wrong then you’re putting it together wrong.

The halo fish mouths on mine were cut at the opposite angle and had to be redone. The A-pillar fish mouths were cut at the wrong angles and also had to be redone. I get this is a universal kit, but I didn’t expect to have to redo everything. I would not recommend buying, I would have given zero stars if it were an option.

Would have been nice to atleast had some guidlines. I guess its' " here it is you figure it out"

Little weary at first when I ordered it but everything came as described and it was a perfect fit for my car! I will definitely be ordering another one

Missing parts to the roll cage top loop and front bars from loop to floor

Nothing about this cage kit is good. No cuts are cut correct. Don’t recommend this kit at all. If I could put 0 stars I would. Doesn’t come with DOM tubing.

I ordered this cage over two weeks ago and this is all I got.
