When I stitched this as a bell pull for one of my friends that loves frogs I stitched them one over the other in order to make into a bell pull I also added tiny flies throughout the piece and wording for my hair dresser. Chart a was easy to work and very colorful. I would definitely order from this seller. Chart arrived in a timely manner and carefully packaged.

The cloth is not stamped with the design, but it is high quality, thick and stiff, does not run but manufacturer recommends that you sew around edge before starting it.The project is intended to be a counting project. You are to count each square to find the center, start with each stitch referring to the not-to-scale diagram.Abby's Kludge:You get what you pay for, this is a cheap craft kit but with high quality materials. Make it work.So I took the page with the diagram and folded it so I could lay it face down centered on the glass of my scanner. Then I scanned that image and saved as PDF.I adjusted my printer resolution to maximum or 1200 DPI, this is a laser printer, not a dot matrix (won't feed) and not an inkjet (will smudge). I adjusted the feeder to "thick envelope," and the feed from automatic to "manual." I have a Brother Multi-Function printer, not a big one, a desktop one, and a medium priced one, available here, or from Brother, etc.I then fed the cloth into the printer through the manual slot pushing gently and I got a "stamp" in other words, a printout of the scanned diagram onto my cloth.It's not perfect because it's not centered and I did not edit out the words above the image but it can be blocked and framed to hide those and to compensate for a slightly off-center image. With some practice, one could conceivably set the printer to 8.5X10 instead of 8.5X11 because that is the size of cloth provided.The "stamped" image is very detailed and clear and easy to sew for someone with good eyes, me, I use one of two magnifier lamps purchased on Amazon, but after doing the steps (Abby's Kludge) above, I was able to start and in a day or so complete the left frog's right foot, because there are not a whole lot of stitches, it's a beginner's kit.I would not give this to a beginner without printing the image on the cloth!I googled "how to transfer embroidery image" and the first suggestion did not work for me--tape the diagram on the window and the cloth over it and trace--I could not get enough detail in that manner, perhaps a lit craft table (available on Amazon but pricey and takes up space) or a drafting table with a lamp underneath would work, a laser printer works quite well, but does put extra ink on the image that has to be blocked out by a frame shop unless the person sewing can cut art card stock or find a suitable frame with precut stock just the right size opening (can be done by shopping around at art supply stores). I figure if I complete it, it's worth a framer's fee to preserve it.This is the first such cross stitch project I've done in about 44 years, it brings back some memories. One thing I noticed is it creates calm to do it as pickup work, and if I make a mistake I can rip it out start over and no harm done. 44 years ago I used to have less patience with myself when I made these mistakes, despite having better eyesight then.I don't have the pieces I made when I was 10...if anyone reading knows where they are, I would like them returned.

It is a nice kit containing everything I will need.

This is a cute pattern for somebody like myself who is a beginner, however, I could only give them 4 stars because they only included 1 needle, and if you happen to be a beginner like me, you won't have any extras lying around just in case you happen to lose that one! And then, it seems that one of the the major crafting stores near me had decided to get rid of their cross-stitch materials just a few weeks prior so this make it a little difficult for me to find a needle like what felt in a haystack!! But I did eventually find the type I hope I need (they don't list that on the instructions so hopefully the page I Googled is accurate) and I'll have to come back and update when I am now brave enough to get started. This has been a little off putting and now I am lacking some confidence :')

I just completed the kit: Dimensions Needlecrafts Counted Cross Stitch, Tree Frog TrioI purchased this as a first time cross stitch project. The pattern is beautiful and easy to follow. The kit includes a paper pattern with visual walk through of the stitches needed to do the kit. Unlike another reviewer I have not had any issue with running out of the thread colors. Every color has several strands left. These are 6 strand standard embroidery thread so you have to separate 2 strands at a time. I recommend looking up a video on how to do this if you have never cross stitched before.My only negative was the included needle broke. The eye bent out of shape and snapped early on. Thankfully I had purchased some back up embroidery needles.

I had so much fun stitching this truly beguiling tiger. I cannot stop looking in his charming eyes. Dimensions, as always, does a wonderful job creating a masterpiece in cross stitch.

Very disappointed with this. I usually cross-stitch from plain aida however I find this design very attractive so I bought it even though the design is already printed on it as stated in the product description.Problems I have with this product:1. The chart provided is not the usually cross-stitch chart that you would get and I find it very hard to follow, instead of placing a symbol in the individual squares, it highlights an area on the chart to indicate which colour to use.2. The only area that you actually sew is the two dolphins in the centre... the rest of the design is printed not very clearly on the aida, while the areas for the two dolphins are blank. I expected that I have to cross-stitch the blue background, but obviously I don't.Although the kit is not too expensive but comparing to other kits that I got in the same order, this is not up to standard. I am not even going to start this kit.

Bought to do as a gift for a frog lover and as I am one myself, I really enjoyed doing this one. Plenty of threads and an easy to read chart. Very happy with it and so was the recipient!

Very dainty image and so far an easy to follow chart. However the pink thread number is not the same in the chart as on the thread holder and I am concerned that there might not be enough of other colours when I note the amount of stitches required. Time will tell. The price was good and delivery within the time span coming from America.

Got this for a friends birthday not sure how it will turned out,as she haven’t started sawing it yet but she loved the horse cross stitch

This product is not for beginners. I bought it as a Christmas present. The lady I bought it for was 90 this year. She has been doing needlepoint since she was a child. But has still had to undo some stitches.
