We had to pack for a 6 week trip through 3 countries, and wanted to travel with the smallest luggage possible. So we thought we'd give these compression bags a try, but I didn't expect them to make much of a difference.I was so very pleased with how effective they were! It was amazing how much more we could pack into our luggage, and it truly was a game changer. With some clothes, such compression will inevitably produce wrinkles, but that was a non-issue for us. I'd say we had to steam/iron a few items maybe 2-3 times over those 6 weeks...Not a lot, but not zero.As for using them, we found a lot of luck with rolling the bags to get them as compressed as possible.

Was super excited for these as we’re going on a trip to NYC and only bringing backpacks to avoid lots of luggage. We wanted to be sure we had enough for our 4 day adventure, but not overstuff the backpacks. I just tried out the “pouch” size and got about a dozen pairs of socks and rolled up the bag to seal! It’s way more secure and compact and I feel like these will be great at saving some space! I only gave the product 4 stars because I haven’t actually used them on the trip to see how they hold up. I’ll try to remember and come back for a follow-up! So far so good!

Love all the sizes that came in the pack. It was all easy peezy! The bags were even more usable as I wore the clothes. I just used the bags as a hamper and closed the top till it was filled, then I put them in the empty suitcases. These made it possible to have one dirty clothes, and one case clean clothes.

….the large was just too large, the small was just too small, but the medium was just right.My plan was to have a separate pouch for each day of our upcoming European vacation. I wanted to be able to have each day’s clothes in a separate bag, so there was no need to unpack the whole suitcase at each different hotel.If all of the pouches had been the mediums, my plan would have worked perfectly.It’s rather hard to get all the air out for compression packing, especially when using the large, but it was manageable. They seem durable enough as they are made with heavy plastic, but only time will tell.Overall, I maybe rated them a 3 when I could have given them a 4, especially since each pack of 3 was only $7, but I can’t get over my issue with the various sizes.

I love these packing bags. I couldn’t find them in any local stores so a helpful employee at a luggage store found them for me online. These were extra useful in packing compactly for overseas travel, three flights, and a cruise. It’s amazing how much space is saved by expressing air out of the bags. Minor complaint: the little zipper part slides off easily so you have to keep an eye on them. Would be more effective if they were permanently attached. I could have used fewer enormous bags and more midsized ones. Still a five star rating for practicality and price.

Fraudulent item. These are advertised as "Samsonite Compression ... 12-Piece Kit" but it's actually only TWO compression bags and 10 useless bags. This bait and switch item should instead notify buyers in one of the first descriptions of the product that only two of 12 bags can be compressed.Also, the seal does not feel strong or premium. It is average or below average. There's no reason to buy this product. You can get 2 compression bags for much less than $16 that I paid.I want a refund but cannot get one because I bought this too soon prior to my travel and the refund window is now closed and now I have only 2 compression bags instead of 12 to use.

Quality was good and there were plenty of sizes includesd. Easy to use and good value for the money
