Accounting Theory: Conceptual Issues in a Political and Economic Environment

Perfect for my College Acct Theory Class. However, some of the information is out of date by now and it was good how my professor made note of the changes.

This book is rough to get through. It isn't written like a textbook, but like a series of accounting research papers bound together in a single volume. A large part of the book is about the history of acccounting more than theory.

Unfortunately the authors are verbose, rambling on the topic rather than explaining it in a clear and concise manner. I have already bought the new book that will be used next semester because this one will no longer be used in the program.

A very dry book.

I thought the book was advertised as very good condition but, the book cover was completely aparted from the book itself and has too many writings and highlights so hard to read text.
