World of Eric Carle, Around the Farm 30-Button Animal Sound Book - Great for First Words - PI Kids

We recently purchased the 30-Button Animal Sound Book and it has quickly become a favorite in our household! The book features a variety of animal sounds that captivate our little one's attention and provide endless entertainment. The vibrant illustrations and diverse range of animals sounds make it both educational and fun.However, there are a couple of aspects that parents should be aware of:Button Difficulty: While the buttons produce clear and engaging sounds, they can be a bit hard to push, especially for babies under 18 months old. Our little one often needs our help to activate the sounds, which can be a bit frustrating for them. This might be less of an issue for older toddlers who have stronger fingers.Page Durability: The pages of the book are made of paper rather than the more durable cardboard often found in baby books. This makes the book more susceptible to tearing, particularly since babies tend to handle things a bit roughly. We’ve had to be quite vigilant to prevent any rips or damage.Despite these minor drawbacks, we are very happy with the purchase. The 30-Button Animal Sound Book is a wonderful addition to our collection, providing educational content and hours of fun. Just keep in mind that it may require a bit of supervision and assistance for the youngest readers.

Its a huge hit in our house! The sound buttons are super engaging — each one plays a clear, realistic animal noise that keeps my little one totally entertained. The book itself is colorful and sturdy, with big, bright illustrations. The only drawback is it is not a board book so the baby tears the pages easily.

I have always been partial to Eric Carle ever since I discovered the "Where's Spot?" books. This interactive book with pictures, simple descriptions, and fun sounds was an easy and perfect choice for my Great Neice who just turned one. She loves the book - as does her brother who is three.

I bought this charming farm animal sound book for my 5-month-old daughter, and we both love it! The simple words and engaging sounds make it perfect for little ones, and the illustrations—by the same artist as The Very Hungry Caterpillar—are absolutely beautiful. It brings back fond memories of my own childhood, making storytime even more special. A wonderful first book for any baby!

Definitely a delightful addition to our collection. The book itself is fantastic, featuring vivid colors and fun animal sounds that never fail to make my baby laugh. The engaging illustrations and interactive elements keep my little one entertained and help with early learning.However, there are a couple of issues that prevent me from giving it a full five stars. Firstly, the buttons are a bit small and can be difficult for tiny hands to press. It would be great if they were larger and more responsive to make it easier for young children to use.Another concern is that the book wasn't as tightly packed as another book I bought from the same series (comparison shown in the 3rd picture), which makes me suspect that Amazon may have shipped a used one. This is a bit disappointing, as I expect new items when ordering.Despite these minor drawbacks, this sound book is a wonderful educational tool that brings joy and learning together. Highly recommended for its engaging content and fun animal sounds.

Bought three of these for three great-grandsons 1st birthday. They are really nice. I will send a picture of them receiving the book, but their birthdays aren’t till April 6, April 22& July 19.
