#1 Deck Premium Wood Fence Stain - Semi-Transparent Sealer (1 Gallon, Natural)

This stain is super hard to mess up. We had no clue what we were doing and our fence looks great. It’s is pretty drippy - that’s the only con so you have to catch drips and splashes. It also doesn’t really clean off with soap and water. The brush I used didn’t clean that easily and my arms were covered in stain for days. Just wear gloves and long sleeves and you’ll be fine. Our fence looks wonderful and that’s what really matters.

Worked as expected

I purchased the gray semi transparent to do the inside of my fence which was weathered and had never been stained. I wanted to keep the natural looking weather but make it more appealing and save it from my sprinklers. This did what I wanted it to on already weathered wood. If you plan to stain fresh new wood I may not suggest this as it is rather thin and you would need a pretty good coating. I used 2.5G to cover about 140 feet of fence and posts using a Wagner stain sprayer. It took a minute to get used too. I do need more to finish since apparently I have a ton of fence I don't even want but was already here so back I come.

looks great

Stained my deck a couple weeks weeks ago and figured I’d let it wait out a few rain storms to review it. The color is nice but it definitely washed out in some spots, and is a dull color. One of the 2.5 gals covered the top area of my deck (45ftx15ft). Make sure to shake it because it seperates almost completely in the jug. Also, my deck is incredibly STICKY even weeks later. Probably will avoid this brand next time around considering the price and effectiveness is not the greatest

Was easy to apply and looks good. I used an electric paint gun to apply so made it easier.

Coverage was good using VLP spray gun. Doesn't clean well with soap and water. A bit pricey.

This is the worst stain I've ever used. So thin, it's like water, runs terribly. I hsve stained many fences, and never had anything like this. Terrible results. I will never use anything but behr again. And this was the same price. Behr didn't have the color I needed in stock, so i tried this brand. Don't waste your money.
