Hooke Road Ram 1500 Overland Bed Rack Truck Ladder Rack for 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Cargo Carrier

Wasn't sure if this would fit with the retractable bed cover I have "gator cover" I think it is, I needed something that would mount under and this looked like it would work. It doesn't say it will fit the ram rebel but it fits 2017 just fine. It is pretty adjustable so it will fit a wide array of truck beds. At the lowest setting I'd where it's at in the pictures, if I set it at the highest it is flush with the top of my truck cab. Kayak mounts were tricky so had to get some longer bolts for those but it all worked out. I was missing some parts but after contacting the seller they showed up at my door 2 days later so that was really helpful.

Good price. Looks good. Cheaply made. Worst thing was thw directions. One page of the smallest photoes you will EVER SEE. I used a magnify glass for the pics. Would not purchase again.

Solid unit. Put it on my 2016 ram 1500 but in all reality I don’t see why this isn’t universal. I mounted it per the instructions, but didn’t want it close to the cab so I slid it towards the back of my bed, and it has held up well over 2k miles in the last month. I have a 4 person RTT on top and I set it to a minimum height so my tent doesn’t stick up too far over the cab. I think the brackets at the bottom are built so that you can run a tonneau cover as well but I don’t run one so I may take the brackets off and drop the whole into another 2 inches. Took me 4 hours by myself to put together and install on my rig using only hand tools and then tightened it down at the end with an impact. For the price, I would definitely buy again and not wait so long.

Rack fit great! I put a rooftop tent on it and it is bomb proof. The instructions were little to be desired and it the amount of hardware to put together was endless. All in all I am happy with my purchase!

I wrote a pre iois review it seems to have disappeared. There are no instructions with this purchase. You have to hunt for the model on the box and look it up on their website. You barely can see the pictures and nothing is in order. You do have to drill holes to get it to fit. The hardware is cheap I stripped the heads on multiple screws the only way to get the screws out now is to drill them. This is Chinese made. But it one of the least expensive options. It's solid on my truck but took a while to install. Be prepared if you purchase.

I would replace the hardware, it will rust easily. It was sturdier than i though it would be. It took a while to put together.
