Lixit Corner Litter Pan for Ferrets, Rabbits, Rats, Guinea Pigs and Other Small Animals. (Blue Pack of 1)

My cage used to have a "kitchen" end with paper litter that was heavily used for a toilet, but I had issues keeping it as clean as I wanted it. After one of my piggies died, I decided to get rid of it and try this litter pan. It's been fantastic, as my little piggy princess has essentially litter-trained herself. Butterscotch LOVES this thing and hops in to turn her back and do her thing at least 80% of the time. Some days I don't even need to sweep the fleece, simply dump the pan. It's a breeze to sanitize, and Butter popcorns like mad then hops in and out of it each time I do it. The little hole in the corner is perfect. She likes to redecorate her cage by moving her pigloo and everything else around. It's usually adorable but when Butter moved the litter pan, it meant she went behind it to do her thing. One twist tie later and it's firmly held in place, but easy enough to take out for cleaning.

It doesn't get 5 stars because it doesn't have a way to attach to anything other than an awkward tiny hole in the top (which I had to use wire to get to work since my ferrets like throwing their poop boxes all over if they get bored), but this is otherwise exactly what I'm looking for.It is fairly small for an adult ferret, but it actually fits in the corner of a room or cage without weird rounded edges like the ones the pet store had. Like. Why would they make a corner pan without real corners?? I get they may be easier to clean, but dang! Not enough to warrant making them easy to push out from the corner haha.'I ordered several to put in various rooms and their cage so that we have boxes within reach at all times.

We have two rats, and a Martin's Cage (24" W x 14" D x 36" H) and this pan takes up a lot of space. We probably could do with a smaller litter box for our rats but I wasn't seeing a smaller size on amazon so just got it anyway. It's pretty lightweight so it can be moved around easily, but there is a small hole in the corner if I wanted to secure it to the cage. I probably will when my babies get a bit bigger, but they can't move it too far at this point. It's made out of a thin plastic, but we have boy rats so hopefully they don't shew on it (I've heard that girls are more likely to chew up plastic). So aside from the size, this works great in my rat cage.

I had high hopes for this item nut unfortunately there is only 1 hole in the back corner which makes attaching it to the vars of a cage almost impossible. Also, the hole is at the very top of the back corner. The better ones I have used have 2 holes in the back of the dish. with the hole being on top is a poor design. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

This is very small. We adopted a 4 month old bunny and too small for him. Maybe better for a guinea pig or newborn critters.

Excellent, sturdy and large corner litter boxes for my Guinea Pigs. They aren't supposed to absorb so I don't know why that was listed as a possible rating. There was no chemical smell to these trays.

My rats won't use it. They just poo and pee wherever they please. I'm going to try using a pee rock in the litter pan next. Hopefully that will get them to use it. It's a nice size for rats and it's easy to clean.

I thought the seller had charged me twice but it was my mistake, Amazon cleared up my question. The seller is great and the product is AWESOME we will purchase two more to cover all the corners in our guinea pigs cages!
