Love! Works great and is now a staple of our career.

This is my 2nd master cardiology. My first is still alive and kickin after probably 6-7 years of daily use. I only got a new one because I had CME money to burn. This is hands down the best sounding stethoscope I have used in 15+ years of being in medicine.

What can you say - it's a Master Cardiology with a slick anodized grey finish. The scope is not quite as heavy as I remembered, but the bell can cause some damage if it falls off your neck, given the design. I can't say that there is a clinically significant difference between this scope and a Cardiology II, but the price difference is minimal and the bell design in the Master Cardiology allows you to more easily eliminate noise artifacts - i.e. crepitus from hand joints, etc. Not a great value overall, but functionally excellent and the durability is well known. An honest 4.5 stars, but I'd lean more towards 5/5 rather than 4/5, if forced to pick

I used an entry-level stethoscope for over 10 years since graduating from nursing school. After it finally gave out from all the frequent use, I decided to upgrade to the 3M Littmann Master Cardiology Stethoscope—and I’m so glad I did! The difference is amazing. If you know what to listen for, you can hear everything from heartbeats and valve closures (like mitral, tricuspid, aortic, and pulmonary) to the swishing sound of heart murmurs, lung sounds like wheezing, pleural rubs, crackles, and even abdominal gurgling. Auscultation is such a valuable tool in patient care, and this stethoscope really makes a difference! Highly recommend it.

I am a med/surg nurse and absolutely love this stethoscope. I had a Littmann Classic and was having trouble hearing when listening to patients. With this stethoscope I have had no problems even on problematic patients. Great stethoscope for the price.

I like the single-head design - by subtly varying pressure on the head, I'm able to move between bell and diaphragm modes easily. Very useful with complicated murmurs. Sturdy design, with no evidence of deterioration over the last 2 years.

I love the way this looks! I decided to get the smoke finish one and I love it!! The sound is great, of course. But the cord came in sticky... my previous Littmann classic III was never this sticky. Is this normal??
