Love the flavor!
We use these to add a nice umami layer to our cooking (sure, we’ll add it when we’re cooking Indian food, but we’ve been going through a gnocchi and sauce phase - and 2 of these peppers tossed whole into the pan while you’re sauteeing the gnocchi … chef’s kiss!), and a gentle heat to whatever they’re in. If we want more heat, we just break open the pod and let some of the seeds out into whatever we’re making. These have a really nice, complex texture and I’m delighted with their quality.

Fabulous dried red Indian chiles
This dried red chiles for Indian dishes are wonderful! Very fresh, well packaged, and only moderately spicy (I would rate them between mild and medium). Just what I was looking for. All Rani products are very high quality, quickly shipped, and just wonderful. Thank you!

Full flavor with a medium heat
These chilis arrived whole and stemless. They have an excellent complex flavor, heat and sweet and a little fruity. I grind them and put them in a spice jar to add a little zest when things go flat.Also they are key to Vindaloo dishes.
