FlushLine Replacement for Sloan Flushmate Flush Valve Cartridge with Removal Wrench Tool

Started the install at 7pm.. which was a stupid move.. no local people carry these parts.. while using the tool screwing it in, the tool snapped in half and I was left to find an alternate means... Anyways, after that, I was attempting to tighten the piece to the right (little vacuum piece) and that unfortunately broke... I can't go without a toilet for 3 days while waiting for the piece to arrive, so I went to home Depot and bought a new toilet.. breaking the 2nd piece was my fault I suppose (cheap old plastic) .. and to be fair I'm sure seller would have sent new tool but I can't wait days without a toilet... So take that for what it's worth

I didn't receive the removal tool that was part of the order.

Came with instructions for easy removal of the old one and proper instalation of the new one.

Cartridge worked as advertised, for a few days, then VERY difficult to flush. II got TWO duckbill valves and supply screens in the package. I thought I was lucky. Neither of them worked. They both leaked under pressure. This is NOT the geniune, Made in the USA, Flushmate product (C-100500-KIT). It's a cheap knockoff that didn't work from Day 1. I even hired a licensed plumber to install it. The pre-tensioned spring inside the cartridge did not function properly, which is a factory-installed spring with no user adjustability; and the cartridge's 'fit tolerance' was much tighter than the real Flushmate product, which I ended up buying from Grainger (Part #1ATP5). Save yourself the stress, the lost time, and the frustration, and buy the genuine Made in the USA product from one of Flushmate's authorized distributers.

Fast delivery. Saved me from having to replace the entire flush tank. Works great, as good or better than the original.

I bought this kit and due to the force needed to get the new cartridge started, immediately broke the tool. Using a pliers as recommended when there is no tool, I was able to get the cartridge almost all the way in as the fins started breaking because of the force required. At this point, I ordered a Sloan branded replacement (Same price), and a $20 tool to get this one out.The Sloan cartridge went in without any tools, easily went in with my fingers spinning freely. It was so easy I gave the this knock off one more try and immediately started having trouble again. So it's now been a 3 day project instead of 1, and about $90 instead of $35.Just buy the Sloan.
