DRH Egg Coddler with White Dots For Easy Cook Meals and Ways To Cook Eggs In Porcelain Dish

I love this coddler. It is the larger size, so it claims you can cook two eggs at once, but I recommend only putting in one. Add some cream or herbs, salt and pepper or cheese and place in gently boiling water with the lid screwed on most of the way. You use that loop on the lid to raise and lower it into the water. Make sure the water comes up to just below the rim but not over the top. 8 minutes gave me perfectly cooked eggs. 5 Stars.

I have had two coddlers before and this one looks very nice with stainless steel around the top and under the lid so I think it will work great!! Look forward to using it tomorrow morning!

Product broke after a few uses. Very disappointing.

Just like Grandma's. It's made exactly like the one my grandmother used, and cooks the eggs perfectly. Be careful with cleaning. The lid will hold up better if you hand wash it.

Decent product

It was ok. The part where the lid screws onto was not on properly. It doesn't effect the cooking of the eggs. I don't like using it to cook two eggs as it takes longer, but that's just a preference. I gave it to my sister, she hasn't complained. I will stick with my smaller coddlers.

Very pretty..... can be used decorative or functional. Made my eggs just perfect.

I ordered the two coddler in May, but used for the first time Sunday morning. With first use, the little ring at the top of the cover snapped off. Making it very hard to remove the cover. Not a wise choice in coddler model.

Das ist mal etwas anderes auf dem Frühstückstisch! Außerdem: Frühstückseier lassen sich kreativ durch diverse Zutaten - der Fantasie des Kochs sind keine Grenzen gesetzt - aufpeppen. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die Tatsache, dass das gelieferte Produkt NICHT der Abbildung entspricht: Da ich einen zweiten Egg Coddler mit Streifen bei dieseer Firma bestellt habe, habe ich darauf geachtet, dass die Deckel identisch sind - sieht auf dem Frühstückstisch besser aus. Geliefert wurde ein Egg Coddler mit Ring als Griff am Deckel.Leider war dieser bereits bei der Lieferung abgebrochen!Die Reklamation war problemlos. Als positiv empfinde ich aus ressourcenschoneneden Gründen, dass es möglich war, wirklich nur einen Ersatzdeckel zu erhalten.Den zweiten Punkt Abzug gibt es für den Hinweis in der Bedienungsanleitung, den Deckel nicht zu fest zu verschließen. In dem Fall hält der Deckel nicht so, dass man den Eierkocher am Griff des Deckels aus dem kochenden Wasser heben kann.Mit einer Windung mehr im Deckelgewinde wäre das Problem sicher gelöst.Eine Einschränkung in der Nutzung hat das festere Zudrehen des Deckels nicht bewirkt.Fazit: Empfehlenswert für die, die mal Abwechslung auf dem Frühstückstisch mögen.Eränzung: Der Ring am Deckel ist angeschweißt/angelötet, während der andere, runde Griff angeschraubt (= haltbarer) ist. Dafür lässt sich der Egg Coddler mit dem Ring besser aus dem Topf mit dem kochenden Wasser heben als der mit dem runden Griff.

This is beautiful, nicely finished and gift boxed. Doesn't come with the coddler - recipe: butter the coddler inside generously, crack in an egg and pour on a teaspoon of double cream , add a little tarragon, salt and pepper - then screw on the lid. cook in a pan of boiling water (half way up the coddler) for 10 mins or until as firm as you like the yolk/whites. Great thing about a coddler is that you can take it out of the pan unscrew the lid and check the egg is cooked enough for you and if not just put the lid back on and cook it for longer. Served with toasted soda bread and some smoked salmon. yummy! Enjoy.

今日、UKから無事エッグコドラーが届きました(注文から１０日位）。　早速、本器でチーズ、ベーコンを加えてポーチドエッグを作って美味しくいただきました。　さて、使用しながら金具の調子など調べましたが、ほかの人が書いていたような金具が外れたり、リングが取れたりするような問題は起こりませんでした。　気にいって使わせて頂きます。
