Genuine Parts 15-74848 Black Carbon Heating and Air Conditioning Control Panel Assembly

GM quality replacement part. Dealer could not get one for three weeks. This one was delivered overnight. Wonderful customer service there! Glad I purchased it.

$80 and easy install on my Colorado. Make sure the part matches your system. This one is no auto climate control but with a rear defroster. Not sure why the list number is what it is, but the part number I was going off of (and what this one is) is 84199201.Replaced my old unit where one of the button backlights had gone out. If you have the same issue, don’t pay a dealer. Watch some YouTube and save yourself the money and hassle. Will update if this unit has issues too.Only thing I ran into was unhooking the touchscreen (easier to access/remove the module when the whole plastic frame is removed) because the plugs had a dual action catch (see picture). Your car may be different, but simply press the black tab (red arrow) down and pull the white tab (yellow arrow) out. You can the depress the black tab completely and remove the plug with breaking anything. The plug into the module itself is actually easier (simple depressible catch & pull).

Obviously showed up in time, remove face plate , 4 Bolts, unplug old connector, connect new andreassemble dash
