Works as motorcycle clutch and brake lever covers..
You have to modify the grips to use them for motorcycles. Just clip the very end of the closed end of the grip. Take some carwax I used Turtle Wax tar and bug wax. Slide the cut end over the ball of your handlebar 1st. You can use rubber gloves if you need a better grip. As you can see the blue of my rims does not match the blue of my grips but it's close enough. No more black aluminum oxide fingers. And it is easier to grip the levers.

If they're tough to get on, I came here to say just a squirter of WD40 will change your life! Saw couple others with same suggestion.

I use them on my mountain bike and they stay in place nicely and add a substantial amount of grip when braking.
