Excellent window AC unit. Cools VERY well. The unit was a bit heavier than my old AC, so I had to have someone help lift it into the window. Think I'm ready as can be now for the summer heat.

It only lost a start because it's a little noisier than I would like (I like my quiet). But it's powerful. I usually keep it on low / 4 and my 11x15 room stays cool all day long. Super easy to install and it's small enough I didn't need to put in any additional hardware than what it came with (you can get additional support brackets if you feel the need). The only thing I purchased separately was additional foam strips for insulation. I think the only thing I don't like is that the sliding window panels aren't sealed, allowing hot air and an occasional fly or mosquito to come through. But it was worth the money.

LOVE IT! Sooooooo cold. My bedroom is in a second story old brick house. My old air conditioner barely did anything to keep it cool. This one keeps the whole floor nice and cold, I even had to turn it on low! With blankets on! Came with foam and weatherstripping to insulate. A little noisy but not worth it for the comfort.

I never write reviews but I have to warn yall. I bought this 8/2023 I live in NY so it was end of summer when I got it. It worked fine but we didn't turn it on for a couple of months(winter months) and by the time spring around 4/2024 came it would not turn on out of no where. We only used it a handful of times. I luckily still had guarantee, I was upset because I live in 5th floor walk up but thankfully delivery miraculously brought it up. I did have to pay yet again for someone to install it. They did replace the AC-yay! Or so I thought fast forward we used their AC for summer 2024 and again don't use it during the winter months. During 12/2024 doing heavy lifting with putting up the Xmas tree I decided to turn on the AC....this replacement AC is now dead and I'm out of warranty. I thought I was investing in a good brand. I was sadly mistaken, waste of money

It was easy to install with a helper to lift it into the window. It is quiet and quickly cools 500 sq ft. I use a standing floor fan that is 3.5 feet above the floor and a ceiling fan to move the cooled air around. This thing is so powerful it would be more than adequate for a one bedroom apartment. The secret is to have another fan in the room to help disperse the cool and dehumidified air this unit puts out. Make sure you install it correctly with the outside portion sloping down as shown in the directions. My 1600 sq ft house has a central system but this helps reduce the load on that system. Of course Amazon had the best price with free delivery.

I bought this AC unit last summer, it works great and keeps both my room and the living room cold. However the type of panels it comes with open horizontally and for my window I need panels that open vertically. I had to cut foam to fit and it looks pretty trashy. I have been trying to find the correct panels for my window, but I can't seem to find the style I need.Other than that, everything works great. And mine isn't loud while running. It has a very gentle humming noise similar to a fan, only slightly louder. Though when it first starts up and when it is about to turn off it does make a loud noise.
