Works OK. The directions! WAY OVERLY COMPLICATED! Also the print is font -97.For Gods sake cant you print larger? I literally took them to work and had to use an overhead projector to read them.The directions to set a low or high temperature alarm are ridiculous. I am not an IBM or Microsoft engineer. Pathetic.When my neighbors son comes home to visit from MIT and NASA I will ask him to take a crack at this nuclear engineering code.

perfect for what i needed
easy to use, as well as super nice magnets for placement in walk in. Certification came with 2yrs left on it, so no need to calibrate for some time. Very happy and alarm can be turned off which is nice.

High Quality, Well Made Device
I ordered this device to measure temperatures in the freezer at our little lake condo. Sure enough, the freezer temp has been as high as 39* F, which is not satisfactory. The device has several modes, including an audible alarm. I did not need the alarm, because it would not have been audible from another town. Rather, I set it to document the highest and lowest temperatures.From the picture you can see that the sensor is contained in a sealed bottle of no-freeze liquid. Temperatures changes slowly within the fluid, so there is no rapid swing if the door is opened for ice or a search for dinner. I am very pleased with this product which is lab quality but very suitable for my uses. It is certified by an appropriate authority. If you need a device to record or alarm for prolonged temperatures, look no further.

Very useful tool
Surprisingly useful tool. Used it to calibrate my home A/C thermostat and check temps in refrigerator and freezer that were giving me uneven temps. Seems very accurate. The ability of main unit to "remember" high and low temps over a set period of time is super useful for trouble shooting. Highly recommend.

Good so far, but came in one day and it showed 1 degree, but alarm had not gone off.

Does not Work!
Unfortunately, we did not test the product before the window to return and recently determined the product does not work. It will not read the temperature when the probe is inside the refrigerator. Very disappointed!!!
