Outstanding!! Love it!!
I've had a few Snark tuners in the past - different models. They all seemed slow to respond, required greater input (pluck the string harder/louder), and devoured batteries ... although I have to admit I was getting the batteries through Amazon, and that is a crap shoot! Some were past their 'use by' date.THIS NEW, RECHARGEABLE VERSION is freakin' AWESOME!! I 'perform' in a live setting with no backstage and no help. This new tuner responds almost INSTANTLY with the lightest touch on a string. AND it is CONSIDERABLY brighter than the older units. I often have to cope with evening sunlight, which made my older units difficult to read; NOT THE NEW ONE though! It's easily readable in all lighting! I love it!!(I must admit: This review is 'on' my second unit; I was so impressed with the first on that I ordered a second right away to use with my 'practice' guitar so I can leave the first one in the case with my 'performance' axe :)

Works well on live stage, with amp turned off - purely by vibration, accurate
It's good but remember that the rechargeable version does not have any battery inside. It recharges using a USB port, keeps charge for a good few hours easily. Pretty accurate even on live stage on electric guitar with amp turned off, that was the main use case i purchased this for.

I Love Snark - but this is NOT for Violin
Bought as Christmas present for my wife who just started on the Violin.She took this along to her Violin lesson and her instructor recommended it be returned as you must be able to see the tuner while playing and it is not possible to see the headstock on a violin while playing it. My wife found that to be exactly right. She will simply be using a violin tuning app on her iFoan. I love these for my guitar and the rechargeable option should provide decades of hassle free use.

Great Guitar Tuner
This was bought for my wife who is really pleased with ease of settings and a screen that has great visibility. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for multi purpose tuner.
