R&MInternational Musical Cookie Cutters, Piano, 3 Music Notes, G Clef, Guitar, Violin, 6-Piece Set

This is a great set. They are strong cutters. I have done cookies with these many times! I love the diversity of the choices. I have used the piano and notes and treble the most, and they create awesome cookies!

Needed a guitar cookie cutter and was able to get this whole set of cutters for the price of one. The music note shapes were a great compliment to the guitar. Perfect size for me as I like using bigger size cutters, but there were also smaller ones included in case you need them.

We had fun making these cookies and they were perfect for a musician's birthday treat at work. I like the little music note as a filler so extra dough doesn't get wasted and the different sizes altogether. My only complaint is that the pianos (just frosted or plain) are hard to recognize as pianos and the legs kept falling off. Also the necks of the guitars and basses were pretty unstable. We didn't do any fancy decorating though...I imagine with a little TLC they would look fantastic.

As I just finished my music degree, I wanted to do something fun and quirky for my required recital. I found these cookie cutters and cut up a bunch of cheese for refreshments with these cutters. Obviously, we didn't use the larger ones like the piano, guitar and the cello, but we did cut a few from the larger 8th note, the treble clef, but mostly we used the tiny 8th note. They were a HIT! Everyone thought they were the cutest and most adorable things they had seen! I will be using these cutters a lot for parties!

Cheaply made

These are great for soft things like cookie dough, Jello Jigglers, or sandwiches, but they don't hold up well to harder foods like Rice Krispie Treats. I thought since they were metal, they'd be a little tougher, but my plastic ones seem more durable than these. Also, I wouldn't recommend putting them in the dishwasher. The couple I did run through ended up rusting in a few spots, so now I just handwash and immediately dry them. Also it comes with 3 sizes of music notes, but the smallest one is pretty much useless- it's TINY! It's maybe 1 1/2" tall. And don't plan on keeping them in the box they came in- it's flimsy too. Overall, I'm happy I got these because they were great for my son's birthday party, but I haven't used them since (I prefer my plastic ones).

The selection is wonderful, 4 stars only because they are a bit thin so you have to be careful not to bend them. My grandkids loved them. Best not to run through dishwasher, just wash in soapy water and hand dry. The tiny musical note is a bit hard to get out of the mold. In general, very happy with them though.

I have not had the chance to use them yet as it has been too hot to do much baking lately. I just thought it was quite impractical to have a very small cookie cutter since it will cook faster than the other larger sized cookies.

These cookie cutters work really well and are a variety of sizes to make great choices when you only have a bit of cookie dough left. They might be easy to bend so be careful where you store them. I keep all of my lighter cookie cutters together in a jar so they can't be flattened or bent. I also hand wash my cookie cutters, especially these as I worry that the heat from the dishwasher might alter their shape.
