Updated formula? I'm not sure, but the last tube of this I had felt like the tint was a bit darker. I'm actually glad the most recent tube I got is a bit lighter because it blends perfectly with my fair skin tone and makes it look amazing! It's not supposed to provide any real coverage, but for some reason it evened out my redness and even made my under eye circles look better. Like, what? Every other tinted mineral I've tried leaves me coming back to this one. It's matte and not sticky, which seems to be the theme of all other tinted mineral spfs out there. Thank you, Elta MD!!!

Creamy and easy to apply. I love the tinted and don't feel the need to wear makeup with it.

I have melasma especially in summer. My dermatologist gave me a sample of this and I really like the feel of it. Not greasy or too thick. Plus with the tint I just skip foundation.

Love the EltaMD sunscreen products! I bought this hoping it would be a good match for my fair neutral/warm skin tone. It doesn’t look quite right. My best match has been using the UV Daily Tinted, which alone is a bit too dark, mixed with a UV Clear untinted. This will work fine I think if mixed with a bit of the tinted. Also, I like the bottle application better than this tube. In the bottle it comes out in a thin line; with the tube it’s a bit of a glob. I’ll certainly use this but will go back to the bottle.

Great tinted sunscreen for sensitive skin like mine. I've used this for several years, initially suggested by my dermatologist. I will be buying it again.

I love the matte finish! I don’t even powder my face anymore. I use it as my only foundation. Great stuff!!! Clean face looks nice and even. Doesn’t settle into wrinkles; I use a setting spray when I’m finished.

I’ve used this product for several years but this most recent tube (Feb 2025) has a different texture. It’s somewhat separated and much oilier. Seems like others have had this issue or the opposite (dry and globby). I won’t purchase this from Amazon again.Edited to add that I tried contacting Elta's customer service, which Amazon says to do. Elta asked me a bunch of questions, asked me to send photos, then said it's not their problem since I bought it here. The reviews on their website complain a lot about the new formula. I've attached a photo-all that comes out at first is oil. I have to squeeze it into the sink before I get anything usable, and then it's still super greasy.
