The Grain That Made Me Question Everything (In a Good Way)
I bought Spicy World Pearled Farro thinking it was just another ancient grain trying to ride quinoa’s coattails. “Pearled,” they said — as if polishing it like a luxury stone would make it more appealing. But hey, I like to live on the edge.Let me tell you, friends, this farro changed me. Not emotionally, but definitely gastrointestinally — in a deeply cleansing, almost spiritual way. After boiling it (while whispering motivational quotes at the pot), I was met with chewy, nutty little grains that somehow managed to be both hearty and elegant, like a lumberjack in a tuxedo. It was rustic, refined, and unreasonably filling. I fed my whole extended family with one cup. I suspect it multiplies like a biblical miracle when simmered. It holds flavor like it’s been professionally trained. Add garlic? It’s Italian. Toss in lemon and mint? Now it's Mediterranean. Put it in chili? Congratulations, it’s now the unofficial grain of Texas.Sure, it looks like a bunch of tan pebbles when dry — I’m convinced it could double as fish tank gravel in an emergency — but once it hits the boiling water, it blossoms like your high school glow-up. You’ll want to put it in salads, soups, stir-fries, and probably your will.Spicy World Pearled Farro isn’t just a food. It’s a lifestyle. It’s a commitment. It’s a chewy love letter from the Fertile Crescent. Buy it. Boil it. Brag about it on Instagram. Your tastebuds (and colon) will thank you.

Great quality, great taste.
This is a repeat order and it is a wonderful product. Flavor is great and you can tell it is a quality product. It's easy enough to make quickly during the week, or to spend a little more time on a special meal.

My Replacement for Rice!
I am diabetic and have given up white rice as is so sharply raises blood sugar. I tried a lot of things, but farro is my favorite. I make coconut rice with farro and I love the texture (chewy) and flavor. I use it instead of spaghetti noodles as well and put marinara over farro. To me it is so good. This farro was a good price, came quickly, and tastes so good

Very good farro
I can never find anything but small bags of farro in my local grocery stores, if they carry any at all. This is great, and the large bag is a very good bargain. I took off one star because the bag has no cooking instructions. I shouldn't have to go to the Internet to find them. Also, the bag says go to their Web site for recipes, but they do not have a single recipe for a farro dish or even have this farro on their Web site as one of their products.

Why Pay More at Local Grocery Store(?)
Good product and taste - and a wheat grain alternative side dish that's better than a baked potato, etc.Prices have seemed to double or tripple at our local grocery stores and I've had enough of it and now buying most products on Amazon. Saves me the time / cost / frustration to simply buy on line and have it delivered rather than drive to a store, stare in shock-and-awe of weekly price increases, wait in line to check out, and then pay a tip for a couple minutes worth of work.
